True Hauntings

Stepping foot onto the Charles Bridge, will take you back in the history of Prague to experience the history, culture, splendour of this magnificent structure.This bridge is in the Capital of the Czech Republic and it is a major tourist attraction.Behind the religious sculptures and the magnificent photographic opportunities lies the dark history of this bridge’s past.With death, flood, war, punishment and ego all going into the stones and mortar of the Charles bridge we wounder if it is also haunted by the events of the past that have shaped it.Indeed, spectres of children inhabit the bridge at night as well as the risen saint who suffered death here. Cannock Chase is rumoured to be a portal to another dimension. Supernatural creatures, such as werewolves, Black Dogs, demonic entities, UFO’s, British Big Cats and even Bigfoot have been sighted here.In the 1940’s, a creepy Pig Man was seen and there are several claims of people also seeing a Black-Eyed Girl.Cannock Chase, in Staffordshire England, is a former Royal Forest with a long history of paranormal activity. The most famous ghost, known as the Lady of the Chase, has been witnessed by many visitors to the area. The USS Arizona was a battleship built for the United States Navy in around 1915.The ship was named in honour of the 48th State. The West Virginia Penitentiary located in Moundsville, West Virginia not only provides visitors with a wealth of history, but some also say it is called home to several resident ghosts.At one stage of it's history the facility was ranked by the U.S. Department of Justice as one of the top ten most violent correctional facilities in the country.
