Danny Kelly Show: Is Mike Macdonald the guy? John Schneider QB and OL Problem that will cost him his job.

Danny Kelly, The Ringer, who covers all things NFL pays Jason “Puck” Puckett a visit and they look back to the Seahawks loss to the Rams and the things they could have done better to secure the win.  They jumped into the decision to go for it on 4th down and the play call that they went with.  Can Ryan Grubb and the offense really get to their playbook if they can’t actually block?Puck asked Danny if after nine games it’s fair to question whether the decision to hire Mike Macdonald was the correct one?   The team has been as sloppy as they have ever been. Is that the result of coaching? What about the future of Seahawks GM/President John Schneider?  Under his tenure they have failed to address the offensive line and have had no plan at quarterback since Russell Wilson left. If they can’t turn this around in the next year or two, Schneider will find himself out of a job. Lastly, Danny answers your fantasy football questions as it’s “Waiver Wire Tuesday”.

Daily Puck Drop: Don't be a Jim Moore, root for UW to win. Fair to question Mike Macdonald hire. Guests: Danny Kelly, The Ringer. John Canzano, JohnCanzano.com

On today’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett was joined by his weekly guests, Danny Kelly, The Ringer and John Canzano, JohnCanzano.com Puck starts off the show talking about the Washington State Cougars chances of making the College Football Playoffs as the first rankings come out on Tuesday night.  Puck reacts to the show on Monday where Jim Moore, the Go-2-Guy, would rather see the Huskies lose all their games rather than win, which would help out the Cougars.  Puck thinks Jim and any Cougars fan that thinks that way is crazy. You already beat them! If the Huskies beat Penn State and Oregon it makes the Cougars win look better. It’s an absolute no brainer to root for Washington. Latest examples were the Jason Kelce incident at Penn State and Joel Embiid with a Philadelphia columnist. Lastly, “Hey, What the Puck!?”  Puck responds more to the lost civility in our society and addresses the recent layoffs at iHeartMedia and why he has never regretted his decision to leave the station he loved.

Ground Puck Seahawks Podcast: Offensive line worst in Seahawks history. Would you turn to Sam Howell?

Puck goes back to the Seahawks as Tim Booth , Seattle Times and Curtis Crabtree, FOX 13 join Puck for the Ground Puck Seahawks Podcast.  Once again they focus in on the awful offensive line play and until that ever fixes itself, the team will continue to lose games like they did on Sunday to the Rams. They discuss the decision by Mike Macdonald to go for it on fourth down in overtime. Tim and Curtis liked the decision, Puck offered up an alternative and thought he should have trusted his defense more. What is going on with Connor Williams and why can’t he snap the football anymore?  How much is that now affecting Geno Smith?Speaking of Smith, do the guys ever foresee a scenario where Sam Howell starts a game this season over Smith? The final eight games of the season will be tough and you can make a plausible argument that they won’t be favored in those games. Lastly, why has the team been so sloppy this season?  That’s a direct reflection on Mike Macdonald.

Daily Puck Drop: Sam Howell time? Worst Seahawks OL in team history. Cougs shot at College Football Playoff. Guests: Jim Moore, Go-2-Guy. Ground Puck Seahawks Podcast w/ Tim Booth, Seattle Times and Curtis Crabtree, FOX 13

Today’s Daily Puck Drop with Jason “Puck” Puckett, welcomed Jim Moore, the Go-2-Guy, who joins Puck every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  Also, Tim Booth of the Seattle Times and Curtis Crabtree of FOX 13 drop by for their Monday weekly show, Ground Puck Seahawks Podcast. Jim and Puck jump right into the Seahawks miserable loss and continue to just shake their head at how bad the Seahawks offensive line is. It is without a doubt the worst offensive line in the history of the organization and you can’t really get all that critical of Ryan Grubb or Geno Smith because they can’t get to any of the plays they truly want to run because of how bad the line is. Despite the struggles of the offensive line, Puck and Jim did resist their bet that they made in the beginning of the season where Jim bet Puck $250 dollars that Sam Howell would start a game this season and not because of injury.  Puck said he still feels confident in that bet, but he thinks the door is a little bit more open especially with the teams upcoming schedule. Speaking of that schedule, Puck points out to Jim that it’s highly likely that they won’t be favored in any of their remaining eight games. After talking about the Seahawks, they turn their attention to the Cougars, who will find themselves ranked in the top 20 of Tuesday’s first College Football Playoff rankings.  ESPN analytics gives the Cougs a 17-percent chance of making the playoffs and if they win their remaining four games, that figure jumps up to 34-percent. Puck and Jim are reveling in the idea that they have shot to make it, but also acknowledge that it wouldn’t be realistic if it weren’t for the schedule they have played. However, Jim is not rooting for the Huskies at all. Jim doesn’t want to see Washington beat Penn State or Oregon, even though it helps the Cougars resume. He’d rather have the Cougs just miss out on the playoffs. Puck thinks Jim is officially crazy. Finally, Puck wraps up the show with “Hey, What the Puck!?” Cougar fans! Have fun with all the playoff talk. Revel in it. You never know who long it will last.  The team has put themselves in a position this season to give themselves a shot. That has been awesome to watch develop!

Mike Garafolo Show: Will the Seahawks trade D.K. Metcalf? Will Aaron Rogers quit before the season is over?Trick or treating rules. Is cash appropriate over candy?

Mike Garafolo, NFL Network joined the show for his weekly visit and Puck and Mike immediately jumped into the upcoming NFL trade deadline which will be on election night.  There have been rumors that D.K. Metcalf could be traded and interest has been drawn to Seattle for his services.  Mike immediately addressed those rumors and reports.  Who else could potentially be on the move in the NFL?   Doesn’t it fee like this year in the NFL is as unpredictable as it has ever been?  Puck and Mike discuss the state of the NFL.  What’s the future of Aaron Rogers and the New York Jets?  If they lose again, will Rogers just simply tap out on the rest of the season?  Has his legacy been tarnished since going to New York.  The show was interrupted because Mike couldn’t believe that some kid had come to his house at 1:30pm to trick or treat on Halloween!  They both agreed this violated the rules and regulations of Halloween and that you can’t knock on someone’s door before 4pm.  Mike’s Dad was at the house and came in to ask Mike where the candy was and then asked if he could just pay the kid cash instead of candy?  Garafolo’s wife also got in on the action and stormed into the studio to express her displease with trick or treaters starting this early! Once they got back to football, Puck asked Mike about the price tag for impending free agent quarterback Sam Darnold and would he be worth it for Seattle?

Lofa Tatupu: How to fix the Seahawks OL. Is Macdonald's defense too complicated?

Lofa Tatupu, former Seahawks linebacker joins the show to talk about the current state of the team.  He sees one major issue with the offensive line and he thinks if they can fix that issue in their scheme they would be a much better unit. Fascinating take on the offensive line. Lofa also hints that the Seahawks defense could be too complicated at times for their current players, but he thinks they adjust fairly quickly.  It was only one game to watch Ernest Jones play middle linebacker, but Lofa came away impressed with his style, speed and physicality.  Much was made of the spat between Derick Hall and Jarran Reed, did Lofa have a problem with what he saw on the field.  Lofa talked to Reed this week and shared what Reed told him and what he told Reed. They also touched on the body langue of Geno Smith of late and whether or not that’s been a problem.  Finally, they previewed the upcoming game against the Rams and Lofa touched in on his business ventures Savage Brewery, 1937 Cannabis Farm and his All Day Podcast.

Daily Puck Drop: Halloween over for me. Trick or treating before 4pm? DK on the trade block? Aaron Rogers done? Seahawks OL solution. Guests: Mike Garafolo, NFL Network. Lofa Tatupu, former Seahakws LB

On today’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett welcomes Mike Garafolo, NFL Network, his regular Thursday contributor and former Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu. Puck starts off the show recapping the World Series and the disaster that the Yankees were as they self destructed and blew Game 5.  Now that the season is over, Puck shifted his attention to the Seattle Mariners and what is in store for them this offseason. Lots of holes to plug for the Mariners, especially in the infield and the free agent market is weak.  Will they be forced to trade one of their young starting pitchers? Puck sure hopes they don’t go down that road. Mike Garafolo, NFL Network joined the show for his weekly visit and Puck and Mike immediately jumped into the upcoming NFL trade deadline which will be on election night.  There have been rumors that D.K.
