On today’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett welcomes the Go-2-Guy for his regular Wednesday visit. It wouldn’t be a visit with Jim without some technical problems. Today’s Daily Puck Drop features Puck’s Tuesday weekly guests, Danny Kelly from The Ringer, where they wrap up the NFL season and the Super Bowl and then turn their attention to the upcoming NFL Draft as Danny hosts the NFL Draft Show on The Ringer  and John Canzano from JohnCanzano.com, and he gives Puck the latest on the Pac-12 media deal, expansion and violence in youth sports. Puck opens up the show discussing an assault by a parent at a 12 year old youth hockey game at the Seattle Kraken ice complex where a father of a player shoved two teenage referees down on the ice.  The parent is facing misdemeanor assault charges.  Why does this still happen in today’s culture and where are the adults at these games to prevent this behavior?  Also, what should the punishment be for the parent?(17:56) -Danny Kelly, The Ringer joins Puck to put the finishing touches on the NFL season, the lackluster Super Bowl, the comparisons to the Eagles defense to the Seahawks defense, an early NFL draft look, strengths of the draft on the offensive and defensive line and this years class might have the best collection of running backs in the last decade. (55:35) -John Canzano, JohnCanzano.com stops by to visit with Puck for his weekly chat about his Super Bowl party, new news on the looming Pac-12 media front, expansion on the horizon, does Texas State make sense, what about Memphis and UNLV and St. Mary’s continues to knock on the door for basketball only.  Lastly, John and Puck discuss the youth hockey incident in Seattle where a parent of a 12U kid walked onto the ice and assaulted two teenage referees. (1:37:50) -“Hey, What the Puck!?” We need an intervention into youth sports parents behavior.  

On Monday’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett is joined by the Go-2-Guy, Jim Moore, as they discuss the Super Bowl, losing money, the halftime show, plus the Mariners make a big shakeup with their broadcast.  Also, joining on Monday, the Ground Puck Seahawks Podcast with Tim Booth, Seattle Times and Curtis Crabtree, FOX 13, as they put the finishing touches on the football season and look ahead to the offseason and what it has in store for the Seahawks with major decisions looming. (1:50) - Puck and Jim and rehash the Super Bowl and Puck is upset how much money he lost on the Chiefs. Puck is also upset that he stuffed his face so much and is pretty sure he consumed over 10-thousand calories.  Puck also doesn’t want anyone to bring up the Eagles defensive performance and calling it on par with what the Seahawks did to Denver. Also, they chat about the changes to the Mariners broadcast team and how it will affect the viewers.  And, Puck tells Jim about a proud dad moment. (54:55) - Ground Puck Seahawks podcast with Tim Booth, Seattle Times and Curtis Crabtree, FOX 13 join Puck to wrap up the NFL season and discuss the important offseason dates and storylines for the Seahawks.  What’s the future of Geno Smith?  Will D.K. be traded in the offseason?  Eagles showed the formula for winning…build in the trenches.   Will Ernest Jones return to Seattle?  What cap casualties will there be for Seattle?  (1:26:40) - “Hey, What the Puck!?” Puck gets personal and shares a proud dad moment watching his daughter compete in gymnastics and the joy he takes in watching his kids compete and why parents need to relish these moments. 

Friday’s Daily Puck Drop with Jason “Puck” Puckett featured the Go-2-Guy, Jim Moore from his actual house! Jim was a tad late but he came out on fire. Puck and Jim talk about KJR finally hiring a new host for their old time slot, Mike Holmgren not getting into the Hall of Fame, Super Bowl predictions.  Puck and Jim also welcome Mike Garafolo, NFL Network to the show. Puck was off Thursday, so Mike joined from New Orleans to reunite with Jim.  Handicapper, TroyWins.com gives Puck and Jim gives his picks for the Super Bowl, the total of the game, prop bets and the amount of money that is being bet on the game.  Lastly, Chris Egan from King 5 wraps up the week with Puck talking Super Bowl party etiquette. (32:51) - Mike Garafolo, NFL Network joins Puck and Jim from New Orleans to give the latest on the Super Bowl, Mike Holmgren not getting into the Hall of Fame, NFL hires, and Bill Belichick’s 24 year old girlfriend. (53:18) - TroyWins.com gives Puck and Jim his best bets for the Super Bowl and why he’s leaning toward the Eagles.  He also gives the boys his favorite prop bets for Sunday and they discuss the insane amount of legal money that is being bet on the NFL. (1:07:44) - Chris Egan, King 5, wraps up the week with Puck and they discuss the do’s and don’ts of Super Bowl parties.  Leave the shrimp at home!  Puck tells Chris he has a great idea of a food that he is going to bring to his party and Chris loves it immediately. (1:36:14) - “Hey, What the Puck!?”  Why is Mike Holmgren being snubbed by the Hall of Fame?

Today’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett welcomes the Go-2-Guy, Jim Moore to the show for his Wednesday appearance and shockingly he’s doing it from home and not shockingly he’s already had a cocktail!  They discuss the Jerry Dipoto zoom call where he thinks the Mariners offense is better. Jim wonders why the reporters didn’t press him more. On Tuesday’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett is on the road so the show was not live, and Danny Kelly, The Ringer, was off this week, but Puck does have his weekly conversation with John Canzano from JohnCanzano.com talking college sports, Chip Kelly NFL, Pac-12, media rights, expansion, former WSU hoops coach Kyle Smith and the NBA blockbuster trade.   Puck also catches up with the new football coordinators at Washington State.  Danny Freund, offensive coordinator and Jesse Bobbit, defensive coordinator.  How will their systems look, aggressive and violent defense, physical running game, quarterback under center, expectations of the new state, forging new relationships and coaching under Jimmy Rogers. (:46) - John Canzano, JohnCanzano.com, the latest with the Pac-12 and their media rights deal.  Who does the Pac-12 prefer, UNLV or Memphis?  How will Chip Kelly do in the NFL?  What’s the best comp for the Luka Doncic trade?(34:52) -  WSU offense coordinator Danny Freund and WSU defensive coordinator Jesse Bobbit on their transition to Pullman, expectations for their new players, forging new relationships, new look systems, violent defense, physical running game, and get ready for the quarterback under center. 

On Monday’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett is joined by the Go-2-Guy, Jim Moore and yet again he’s doing the show from a hotel room.   Lots to cover on a Monday including, Luka-Lakers trade, Chip and Pete in Vegas and a sad day for Puck.  Also joining the show on a Monday, the Ground Puck Seahawks podcast with Tim Booth, Seattle Times and Curtis Crabtree, FOX 13.  They discuss the latest offensive hires, Klint Kubiak decision on a quarterback, and Super Bowl predictions. Puck and Jim dive right into the blockbuster NBA trade involving Luka Doncic and Anthony Davis and they wondered if there has ever been a trade that compares in any sport.  Jim, who covered the NBA in the ’90’s, give his thoughts on if there is a comp, plus what it’s like from a reporters perspective to break such a massive story. Friday’s Daily Puck Drop with Jason “Puck” Puckett featured Jim Moore from a hotel room in Eugene, Oregon talking Jorge Polanco, dry January and his number one goal he has in his sixties.  Lofa Tatupu, former Seahawks linebacker, makes his final regular visit to chat about Pete Carroll, Klint Kubiak and the Seahawks offseason.  Finally, Chris Egan, King 5, jumps on for his weekly visit with Puck and Jim and they chat about the M’s, Jim’s sobriety, polar plunges, Friday voicemails, and Puck and Jim being left out of an M’s media gathering.  Before Lofa joins the show, Puck and Jim laugh about Jim’s dogs being attacked by a beaver in Eugene, the Mariners bringing back Jorge Polanco and Puck now wonders if he may lose his bet with listeners.  How many wins do we think this lineup can win?(23:04) -Lofa Tatupu, joins Puck and Jim to react to Pete Carroll being hired by the Raiders, will he join Pete’s staff in Las Vegas? Thursday’s Daily Puck Drop with Jason “Puck” Puckett features his weekly guests:   Mike Garafolo, NFL Network, rising on Klint Kubiak and Senior bowl buzz and Michael-Shawn Dugar, The Athletic on pros and cons of Kubiak and the running game lives!   Puck finishes the show with thoughts on Cam Newton in “Hey, What the Puck!” Puck opens the show with thoughts on the American Airlines tragedy and then address Mariners free agency and the fact that the Tampa Bay Rays have outspent Seattle.
