In this episode we have, Professor Thomas Rozdzynski. Thomas is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and the head instructor at RŌL Academy of Jiu Jitsu in Illinois. He began his journey in 2000 under the tutelage of the late Grandmaster Carlson Gracie Sr. in Chicago. In 2014, he was promoted to First Degree by Professor Eddie Redzovic and Grandmaster Carley Gracie. This led him to realize his dream of opening RŌL Academy of Jiu Jitsu in Orland Park, Illinois, in 2015, where he shares his knowledge and experience with others.  In recognition of his dedication and contributions to the martial arts community, he was promoted to Second Degree in 2018 by Professor Adem Redzovic and Grandmaster Carley Gracie, and most recently, in 2021, he was awarded the third degree by Professor Adem Redzovic. Thomas is also the host of the RŌL Radio podcast, where he shares his insights on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and the Jiu Jitsu lifestyle. I'm excited to have Richard Bresler as our latest guest. Richard is a sixth-degree jiu-jitsu black belt and the author of "Worth Defending".Richard is widely recognized as the first American student of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and worked closely with Rorion Gracie for almost twenty years. He played an essential role in growing Jiu-Jitsu through the Gracie Garages, the Gracie Academy, and the early days of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Richard was also one of the first Americans to earn a teaching certificate through the original Instructor Certification Program at the Gracie Academy and to earn a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Today, we are honored to have a true legend of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with us, Eduardo Telles. Eduardo Telles is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt with over 30 years of experience in the art. He is a multiple-time world champion and is known for his innovative and unconventional approach to the sport, with his trademark "Turtle Guard" and "Octopus Guard" being some of the most distinctive and effective techniques in BJJ. In this episode, we have Matt Serra black belt who also trained extensively under John Danaher, Jason Rau. Jason is the grappler's grappler, for whatever reason he seems to go under the radar of the general BJJ mainstream. Jason is well known in the professional community for his uber-technical and hazardous leg game. Although being sidelined by injury as of late Jason is looking to make his comeback at the ADCC trials and I would definitely consider him a very live contender who could take gold.
