100 / ONE HUNDRED “Flawsome” Episodes
Today, we celebrate ONE HUNDRED episodes of This Is Woman’s Work!
Please imagine confetti dropping, cheese plates passing and air horns blowing…because we are that excited! Back in 2020 (right before that year’s biggest plot twist aka Covid), I launched my podcast with the goal of redefining what it looks and feels like to be doing “woman’s work” in life, at work, and even within ourselves.
But I never thought it would have a much bigger impact on me.
On today’s episode I reflect on this flawsome (embracing the flaws AND knowing it’s awesome regardless) experience, as I share with you some of the important lessons (some funny and some painful), some behind the scenes stories, and some truths I’ve experienced after 100 episodes of podcasting.
And a huge thank you to the MOST important person to this podcast…YOU! Thank you for hearing me out, for your feedback, for your support, for telling your friends, for sharing on social media, and for listening. You have no idea how much this means. So cheers to you, the listener!
This is Woman’s Work.

099 / Grief Is Love with Marisa Renee Lee
Our topic today is a heavy one, but it needs to be talked about because so many of us are experiencing it personally, collectively and globally. I often say that ‘I don’t know what to do with all these emotions’... all this anger, sadness, frustration, and the many, many other feelings. I’m not very good at grieving. Because I’ve never been taught how to.
Here to help us learn to grieve is Marisa Renee Lee - Grief Advocate, Author of the book Grief Is Love, and the friend we all wish we had in times of need. Marisa is a Harvard graduate who uses research based wisdom to help us navigate the complicated and dark emotions we face when experiencing loss.
She was also just on Glennon Doyle’s podcast, which makes me feel like I’m getting one step closer. lol
What if we learned to live fully with our grief? Yes, that sounds hard because it is. But everywhere I look I see women doing hard things. In fact, I believe we could teach the world how to live well with hard emotions. I know many of you are grieving and I’m sending you love and hope. I’m also asking you to hold onto your love and hope, because that is Woman’s Work.

098 / Connecting To Your Inner Love Coach with Nicole Moore
Today we are going to talk about romantic love. And not just the good parts. Because let’s be honest, there aren't many other areas of our lives that can spin us into fear, doubt and insecurity faster than a romantic relationship can, or even the desire for one.
Here to help us navigate through this is Nicole Moore - CEO and Founder of Love Works Method. A celebrity and relationship coach, television host and show creator, Nicole has helped thousands of celebrities, reality stars, influencers, CEO’s, and powerful and influential women find their ideal partner. She’s worked with stars from Real Housewives, Love Is Blind and many others. Nicole walks us through how an internal shift can create the relationship and life you desire.
When we stop being desperate for love and start loving ourselves first, it’s THEN that we can attract the love that fills our souls and fuels our purpose. It doesn’t need to be hard, it doesn’t need to be scary, and love doesn’t have to hurt. Let’s all go out there and find the love we deserve. Because that is Woman’s Work.

097 / Divorce Rehab with Wendy Sterling
Many of us have been socialized to believe that our worth and our value is tied up in whether or not we get married. In our quest to get our ‘happily ever afters’, and in our attempt to live up to societal expectations, we often ignore the red flags, and because of this far too many women (and men) find themselves in unfulfilling marriages.
So what do you do? How do you know when to keep fighting for the marriage or when to start fighting for the opportunity for something better? And if you make the decision that divorce is the best choice, how do you get through this extremely tough experience?
I’ve asked Wendy Sterling to be my guest and to share both from her personal experience, and as the creator of the Divorce R.E.H.A.B program, who’s helped thousands of women reclaim their identity, heal and transform their lives. She’s also the host of The Divorced Woman's Guide Podcast and is passionate about helping women get unstuck so that they can design the life they choose.
It will always be true that you are the decider of what’s right for you. But in all choices, I hope that you prioritize the love for yourself as just as important as the love you feel for another. Even if it means going it alone at times, or for as long as it takes to find somebody worthy of holding your hand and being on the journey with you. That is Woman’s Work.
Here's Wendy’s downloadable guide around How To Manifest The Life You Want from the abundance mindset. You can follow Wendy on IG @divorcerehabwithwendy. You can learn more about her work at www.wendysterling.net

096 / What’s Your Million Dollar Idea? with Taylor and Casey Capuano
I am willing to bet that every one of you has an idea for a product, a service or a business…maybe even multiple ideas. The problem is so many of us talk ourselves out of our own million dollar idea not knowing where to start.
But not my guests today.
On today’s episode you are going to get to hear from two co-founders (who also happen to be twin sisters) who just launched their first product. And I’m willing to bet it is a million dollar idea. Taylor and Casey Capuano founded CAKES body, a company dedicated to creating solutions for women, while simultaneously supporting women’s health causes.
Their first product answers the daily dilemma that so many women face of what to do with the fricken pads that seem to have a mind of their own in sports bras while also combatting NFO (nipple freak out). CAKES launched in January of 2022 and are currently in the top 8% of Shopify stores, have an overwhelming amount of raving fans and 5 star reviews, including me. We will hear how these ladies navigated through the fears, doubts, challenges, obstacles and disappointments of launching their big idea.
What’s your big idea? How are you getting into action? Find yourself some encouragers, some supporters, some hype girls, some mentors, some truth tellers and some raving fans. Choose confidence again and again until it becomes contagious. That is Woman’s Work.

095 / How Are You, Really? with Jenna Kutcher
So many of us feel like we're inundated with ‘should’s, ‘supposed to’s, unsolicited advice, expectations and general pressure to do it all while making it look effortless. In the face of all of that noise, you’ll hear today from one of my bucket list guests, how to learn to listen to yourself again.
I’m THRILLED to welcome Jenna Kutcher as my guest today. If you have somehow managed to make it through life up to this point without knowing who she is, Jenna is a Minnesota wife, mother and entrepreneur who aims for two things daily: helping others wake up to life, and staying in comfy pants (now, that’s a mission I can get behind). Host of the top-rated Gold Digger podcast, she’s helped hundreds of thousands redefine success and chase bold dreams through her work as a leading online personality and educator.
Her book, How Are You, Really? is about to hit the shelves and I am so excited we all get to hear from her. We are going to invite you to get a little uncomfortable. Because as Jenna says, “the realist version of you deserves to be known and listened to.”
To pre-order Jenna’s book go to www.howareyoureallybook.com and follow her on IG @jennakutcher

094 / Struggling With A Decision
As a business owner I have to make some tough decisions where there is no way to be absolutely sure if I’m making the right one when I’m making it. This can lead to over-thinking, increased stress, and even looking for signs or someone who can just tell me what to do… because like so many people, I don’t love uncertainty.
On today’s episode I share about a dilemma that I’ve been working through the last few months (if I’m being honest the last few years) around social media. I open up about my doubts, my fears and ultimately the steps I decided to take to get out of my comfort zone, and get into action.
But this episode really isn’t about social media at all, it’s about listening to your inner voice, choosing an empowered perspective, deciding for yourself, getting clear on your boundaries and getting into action towards what REALLY matters to you. And if I’m going to encourage you to do all that, I better do it too!
Because the woman I am becoming and the woman YOU are becoming will cost us… but we should choose her over everything. That is woman’s work.

093 / The Audacity To Be Queen with Gina DeVee
I’ll be honest that I generally find the idea of women calling themselves “queen” a little cheezy. But I love it when someone comes along and changes my mind!
On today’s show I’ve invited the incomparable Gina DeVee to be my guest. Gina is the founder of Divine Living, a global lifestyle and empowerment brand for women, a speaker, transformational coach, host of the “Divine Living” podcast, and author of “The Audacity to be Queen.” Gina shares with us how to release all forms of self-doubt and self sabotage so that we can discover the best version of ourselves.
“In every woman lives a queen, who is confident, poised and clear on her calling. She is bold and unapologetic. Drawing from her spiritual connection and feminine nature, she accesses the power to manifest her desires and fulfill her purpose. The era of invisible women is over, your time to be queen has arrived. The days of dismissing ourselves and our desires end here, no longer must we pretend to be anything other than our brillant, capable and fabulous selves.”
And that definitely sounds like woman’s work to me.
As you heard in this episode, Gina has been a huge support and I've already experienced personally the value of her work. Here's a little insider information I'd like to share with you... Gina is hosting an incredible program later in the month, but in the interim she is offering this FREE 3 day event this week (Wed-Fri), check it out HERE!

092 / Making A Career YOU Turn with Ashley Stahl
In this episode of This Is Woman’s Work, we are going to explore a topic I know many of you are overthinking: making a career decision or transition. Making what my guest calls a YOU turn.
I’ve invited Ashley Stahl, a counterterrorism professional turned career coach to join us today. Ashley is the bestselling author of the book You Turn: Get Unstuck, Discover Your Direction, Design your Dream Career. You probably have already heard of her from her two viral TEDx talks, or from her show “The You Turn” podcast, or in her monthly career column in Forbes. Ashley shares with us how to discover your best career path.
When you know yourself intimately, deeply and truly, it becomes much more obvious where you fit, and where you don’t. And it becomes clearer who and what’s meant for you, and who and what isn’t.
And let’s be real… you invest too much time, effort, energy and talent into your job to be doing something you hate, or to be doing it with people who don’t appreciate the fully historic arrangement of badassery that is you. So go find or create that job, and if it requires a YOU turn, well that is Woman’s Work.

091 / Why Must I Curse?!
In this episode of This Is Woman’s Work, I share my response to the question “why must you use the f word so much?” Yes, someone actually asked me that. You bet your a$s I had an answer.
But before I share my answer, I have a little fun exploring what cursing means, my boundaries around using it and when I think it’s appropriate and when it’s not…for me. Because I am the decider of what words come out of my mouth, as are you.
My intention in cursing is never to demean or disrespect or even for shock value. I do it because I choose to. Because it’s authentic, it’s a way to release frustration, express a genuine feeling, and because it often just makes things way funnier.
Does it always need to be so serious? So professional? I think the f*#@ not. LOL!
