The Burning Man Festival in the US is known for its barren, dry landscape, the outrageous outfits and art, and now, pouring rain that has turned the dusty ancient lake floor, into a sticky, muddy, mess. But while the festival attendees are waiting to see when they will be allowed to dig out their vehicles and get out of there, rumours are spreading that a deadly disease is making its way through the makeshift city. A few months ago, an Australian woman underwent brain surgery. What the surgeons discovered was a world first...a parasite living in her brain.  So how does a parasitic worm end up in your brain? This week, outgoing Qantas boss Alan Joyce and Jetstar CEO Steph Tully were questioned by a Senate enquiry about the Australian airline market, skyrocketing airfares, flight cancellations and unused pandemic credits.  We learned that Qantas and Jetstar were holding on to close to $500 million of our unused flight credits, that all have an expiration of December 31 this year.  In this episode of The Quicky we find out why airfares are still so high, and just why haven't we all cashed in our flight credits. A few weeks ago Spain won the FIFA Women's World Cup. But sadly, that's not the story that's been reported around the world in its wake.  During the celebrations, The President of Spanish Football Luis Rubiales kissed player Jennifer Hermoso on the lips. It caused outrage everywhere.
