Top 3 Tips That Will Help You Sell Out Your Event!

I can't believe our fifth in-person Powerhouse Women event is coming up in just a few weeks! Hannah also has some amazing tangible tips for how to reach out to sponsors and make your event profitable. In this episode we talk about: Our experience with having flash sales and early bird pricing Creating a natural urgency that you can build into your promotion Different ways that we have mini launches, like contests and speaker announcements What it looks like to play the long game and show up for your community outside of the event Viewing sponsorships as mutually beneficial collaborations, not free handouts If you loved today's episode, please share your favorite takeaways or your own systems and processes by screenshotting this episode and tagging us on Instagram! Mindset Habits Of 6 & 7 Figure CEOs

I love sharing sneak peeks into our Girl Gang monthly mindset calls where we dive into the mental game of entrepreneurship and pursuing big dreams. I hopped on a call with the group right after Hannah and I got back from a mastermind trip where we spent three full days talking about ideas and strategy with people who are all multiple six-and-seven-figure business owners. Needless to say, I was feeling so inspired. In the call, I break down three of the mindset, belief systems, and habits that these super successful leaders embody. I've observed that they take action a lot faster, invest in the person they want to become, and also work 10 times harder on the inner thought work than they do on the outer results of their business. Tune in to learn more about how you can start thinking and making decisions like a seven-figure business owner. In this episode we talk about: Being willing to fail forward Why the longer we give ourselves to do something, it actually becomes harder to achieve How I use the annual Powerhouse Women event as a timestamp to reflect on the past and check in with how I want to approach the next year Tangible tools for supporting yourself when you're sitting in uncomfortable feelings Recognizing that fear is going to come along for the ride, it just doesn't get to sit in the driver's seat If you loved today's episode, please share your favorite takeaways or your own systems and processes by screenshotting this episode and tagging us on Instagram! I'm joined by hiring expert Jackie Koch to talk all things building out your team, developing your leadership skills, and some of the not-so-fun (but very necessary) parts of taking on employees. How To Communicate With Confidence & Certainty

I recently got a message from a listener who was looking for advice about how to communicate with more certainty, authority, and confidence. If you were raised in a culture that really values politeness and being more soft spoken (shout out to all my Midwesterners!), you might be subconsciously diminishing your ability to make the greatest impact possible. I'm sharing three ways that I've become more conscious of my communication style, how I've tweaked it, and the results that I've seen in my business because of these small changes. In order to be able to fulfill a bigger vision, you have to step into a new level of leadership, and these tips will help you get there. In this episode we talk about: How you can command respect in a way that reflects your authentic personality Recognizing when you're apologizing for things that you don't need to apologize for Examples of what it looks like when we replace 'sorry' with 'thank you' Understanding that 'no' is a complete sentence Learning how to graciously accept acknowledgment instead of constantly deflecting compliments or praise If you loved today's episode, please share your favorite takeaways or your own systems and processes by screenshotting this episode and tagging us on Instagram! Speaking in front of audiences or sharing my message on podcasts is one of the best parts of my job, but I've gone through years of rejection, trial, and error to get to where I am today. I'm sharing insight into how to position yourself and get selected to speak at events, podcasts, and on other platforms. 355. The Myth Of Overnight Success

If you're feeling like no matter what you do, you're not moving towards your goals as quickly as you'd like, there's one question that you need to ask yourself: Who did you have to become in order to create those results? In a world that's obsessed with the idea of 'the overnight success story' (which, spoiler alert, doesn't actually exist), what if you committed to doing whatever it takes for as long as it takes to get the results that you desire? I want you to observe and be in the same rooms as the people that you want to emulate, and start showing up like they do. This mindset shift has been the number one thing that has gotten me to where I am today with Powerhouse Women, and I know it will get you to where you want to be with your big dream, too. In this episode we talk about: What we typically focus on when we're not seeing results Recognizing that there are alot of mistakes, breakdowns, and challenges that happen behind the scenes, even for the most successful people Translating your skills into new areas A sneak peek into the theme of my next book My challenge to all of my listeners (and myself!)
