Behind the Scenes of Why I Know Anything is Possible

This episode of our podcast features a new format for The Big Talk. This week, I'm being interviewed by Jazz Biancci, one of my incredible coaches who works with me inside The Big Talk Academy. Together, she and I are going even further behind the scenes of my solocast episodes, starting with Episode 373: Why I know anything is possible. If you were able to tune in that week, you'll remember this episode went deep into my backstory and how the experiences in my life have all led to my unshakable knowing that anything is possible — for me and, more importantly, for you as well. These new bonus episodes with Jazz are going to allow you the opportunity to understand my thought process with even more clarity as you apply these ideas to your own journey and use your voice for impact. In this episode, we'll explore: Shifting your mindset around the problems in your life to view them as new opportunities The deep happiness, joy, and courage that comes from community What happens when you are willing to fall on your face and get back up again Consciously designing the life that you desire and making yourself a priority More from Tricia Episode 373: Why I know anything is possible Access my exclusive interview with TEDx speaker, Keiya K. Trust Decide Act

I start this episode off with an incredible quote I recently heard from Ram Dass that was included in the book Conversations With God by Neale Donald Walsch. Dass said, "I'm neither optimistic nor pessimistic. I don't find that an interesting place to hang out. I optimize what I do for all possibilities. What happens is what happens." Optimizing what you're doing for all possibilities is such a powerful concept and one I want to get into with you today. And we're going to do this by examining the three words that I live by: trust, decide, and act. When you put these three words into practice, you are going to see results, and you're going to see them quickly. You'll be able to move the needle in your speaking, your business, and your life. I want you to walk away from this episode really considering these three words and how you can begin to implement them today. In this episode, we'll explore: How to trust yourself and give yourself permission to make mistakes The competence-confidence loop you need to create What happens when you make a decision based on trust Investing in yourself Staying in action and forward momentum More from Tricia Consistently Share Your Big Idea with Secrets of The Big Talk Order my book, The Influential Voice: Saying What You Mean for Lasting Legacy Join The Big Talk Membership Community Download my FREE Ebook: 7 Step Formula for Fearless Speaking Explore my content and follow me on YouTube Follow me on Instagram Connect with me on Facebook Connect with me on LinkedIn Visit my website at TriciaBrouk.com

Urgently Using Your Voice with Andrew Bennett

This week on the podcast, we're talking about foundational experiences and how they can shape us into the speakers and people we eventually become. We're also discussing healing and the urgent need to use your voice to make an impact in the world. For this episode, I'm joined by the amazing Andrew Bennett for the second time! I'm so honored to have him back on The Big Talk and get into an even deeper conversation with him today. Andrew is a speaker, consultant, coach, magician, and 2x TEDx presenter specializing in leadership, organizational culture, and personal development. He is on a mission to revitalize the human spirit and has worked with over 120 organizations, including Google, Microsoft, and Habitat for Humanity. His first TEDx talk, "The Magic of Words," has been viewed over a half-million times. Before taking those big stages though, Andrew had a lot of high-highs and low-lows in his life that involved several losses beginning at very young age — including losing his mom and 7-year-old sister before he was even 3 years old. And those losses really laid the foundation for what became important to him and what he still speaks to others about today. Andrew now talks on topics such as the purpose of life, and how to deal with suffering in your own journey. He also uses the power of magic — which he began performing at age 7 — to speak to his audiences. In this episode, we'll explore: His relationship with his grandfather and how that shaped him into the man he is today How Andrew found his voice and the urgency he feels to use it The power and responsibility in telling your story and why you must heal from your trauma first The importance of vulnerability in leadership Investing in your business as a speaker Andrew's current favorites — Book: Your Erroneous Zones and Speakers: Wayne Dyer, Dan Pink, and Amy Morin More from Andrew His first appearance on The Big Talk podcast in Episode 269 Website: https://andrewbennett.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/andrewbennetttransforms/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/andrew-bennett-250377/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/magicofab/ and https://www.instagram.com/phillipandwinston/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/magicofab YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/TheMagicofAB More from Tricia Consistently Share Your Big Idea with Secrets of The Big Talk Order my book, The Influential Voice: Saying What You Mean for Lasting Legacy Join The Big Talk Membership Community Download my FREE Ebook: 7 Step Formula for Fearless Speaking Explore my content and follow me on YouTube Follow me on Twitter Follow me on Instagram Connect with me on Facebook Connect with me on LinkedIn Visit my website at TriciaBrouk.com

Inside the Manifestation and Meditation Retreat

Today on The Big Talk, we're talking about meditation and manifestation. I share with you a retreat I took over the summer centered around these two crucial practices and how you too can implement them in your life and be in full receivership of what is meant for you. In June, I decided I needed to get out of New York City and take a trip to be near the ocean. Because when I am close to the ocean, I'm always reminded that it is not about me and that the possibilities are so much bigger than I can even imagine. Normally, I wait to go away in December for my business so that I can create for the upcoming year at The Big Talk. However, I realized that this year I had been creating so much and for so long that I needed to pause sooner to make space for not having anything going out and instead allow for everything to come in. So, I booked this getaway and gave myself full permission to be open to receiving as I centered my days around manifestation and meditation. In this episode, we'll explore: The luxury I desired for this trip and how this helped me be in complete receivership What will come to you when you give yourself permission to be open and in a state of receiving Respectfully putting yourself first and being clear on your desires The way you can create the life of your dreams and step fully into your power as an effective communicator More from Tricia My interview with Saje Dyer and Serena Dyer Pisoni in Episode 379 Join The Big Talk Membership Community Read my book, The Influential Voice: Saying What You Mean for Lasting Legacy Consistently Share Your Big Idea with Secrets of The Big Talk Download my FREE Ebook: 7 Step Formula for Fearless Speaking Explore my content and follow me on YouTube Follow me on Twitter Follow me on Instagram Connect with me on Facebook Connect with me on LinkedIn Visit my website at TriciaBrouk.com

Leadership and Vulnerability from the Hamilton Stage

This week on The Big Talk, I am sharing an incredible conversation with my dear friend Antuan Magic Raimone. Together, we are talking about leadership, vulnerability, and a true favorite of theatre lovers around the world, Hamilton. Magic is a New York City-based TEDx speaker, performer, and advocate. As a childhood sexual abuse survivor, he is using his voice to help those who have not found their own. He is a member of the Office of Victim Services Advisory Council and has given keynotes at the University of Virginia and the SPECTRUM Conference in Albany, NY, as well as the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA). With more than 20 years of professional performance experience, he is currently with the Pulitzer Prize and 11x Tony Award-winning Hamilton as a Universal Swing, covering the six male ensemble members for the five U.S. companies. Additional credits include the 4x Tony Award-winning In the Heights (Broadway, Off-Broadway, and First National Tour—Graffiti Pete U/S, Associate D/C, and Vacation Swing) and six years with the Radio City Christmas Spectacular (Ensemble). Becoming Magic is Antuan's debut as an author. We start with Magic's backstory and how seeking therapy for the childhood sexual abuse he experienced actually brought him to becoming a speaker. He truly wanted to help the center that helped him, and without any financial means to do so, he volunteered to speak — to use his voice to assist others in getting help, too. And the power of Magic's influential voice has only grown since then! In this episode, we'll explore: Magic's first invitation to a TEDx stage and what he felt in that moment How he landed his role in Hamilton, what it was like when the pandemic left theatres dark, and what's its like now to be back in rehearsals Designing and curating the life that you desire and making space for what is meant for you What it's like to work in a space that's intentional and purposefully offering support for you as whole, vulnerable people How you can learn to love yourself and become magic in your own life Magic's current favorites — Book: Oh, The Places You'll Go!, Speakers: Brené Brown and Dax Shepard, and Podcasts: Armchair Expert and The Laverne Cox Show More from Magic His book, Becoming Magic: A Path of Personal Reconstruction His TEDx Lincoln Square Talk, Soldier of Love: My Survivor Journey Website: www.thesoldieroflove.us (When you sign up for the newsletter, you will receive FREE access to the first chapter of Magic's book.) How to Find Your Perfect Mentor
