Storytelling: A Powerful Healing Tool For Everyone
— "The most interesting stories aren't ones of blame or regret. They're ones of self-examination, where we examine our own involvement in decisions—all of the complicated nuances, that in examining them, lead us to grow. How Deep Is Your Self-Love?
— "Together, we are the product of broken hearts & the brave decision to return to love." Love from the Vortex & Other Poems (Kaleidoscope Vibrations, LLC), is poet and scholar-activist Yolanda Sealey-Ruiz's first full-length collection. An archaeological exploration on love and intimacy, the book charts her journey of finding and losing love over the span of three decades with six different men who came into her life at various times, but also offers a universal take on what can happen when one seeks love and connection with others, and the lessons that follow when that connection and love is lost. Revealing moments of happiness, fantasy, frustration, and eventually dealing with the dissolution of relationships, the book moves beyond these anticipated stages to moments of grace and beauty that come with the discovery and practice of self love, and a more fuller understanding of what it means to truly love someone as your love yourself. Valeria Teles interviews Yolanda Sealey-Ruiz — the author of "Love from the Vortex and Other Poems." Is Your Love Relationship A Divine Union?
— "A divine union is where both individuals show up with self-love, they take personal responsibility for their life choices and they seek to bring out the best in themselves and each other. This type of relationship allows both people to shine while fulfilling their individual life paths. These individuals have a purpose for waking up each day and motivation to be their best selves. They understand that they are not perfect (and never will be) but don't use imperfection as an excuse to hurt themselves or others. They are open-hearted, forgiving, and certain about how they feel. Healing The Soul

Valeria Teles interviews Joy Andreasen — the author of "Whispers From Another Room: A Mystic's Journey Into the World of Spirit" Joy Andreasen is a psychic medium, Shamanic Reiki energy healer, spiritual Consultant and teacher, and published author of three books. Her clients report renewed hope, a greater sense of well-being, and often are able to move forward from limiting beliefs and behaviors after their sessions. She also has been able to assist clients in moving forward past grief and navigate difficult decisions after conversing with their deceased loved ones or Spiritual Guides. She hosts a monthly Zoom where she and the participants meditate as a group and send healing energy out into the world, allowing the Guides to share and direct the agenda. She sees clients by phone, Zoom and in person in Winchester Virginia where she resides with her husband and kitty.
