When We Change, Our Situation Change
— Be a human who can admit he changed his mind. This is what happens to us as human beings: life can suck and our world changes, we choose to change, our situations change. I do not believe God changes. However, what we know of God and our relationship with God can and often does change as we face the pain of caregiving and whatever else piles on. A journal gives us knowledge of both ourselves and God. These can be influential and provide the foundation for future growth as we seek God. Valeria Teles interviews Ken Hagler — the author of "Life Sucks Seek God: 5 soul-healing habits to connect you with God when life seems out of control." Ken Hagler is an author, pastor, writer, YouTube creator, and Podcaster. He has been in ministry full-time since 1996 serving in various ministry areas. During his ministry, Ken has served churches in Kentucky, Missouri, Georgia, Idaho, and now Alaska. His hope and prayer is to encourage and guide people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ and experience faith every day. Ken is the author of Life Sucks Seek God - a book dealing with the issues of grief, suffering and pain and 5 spiritual practices to face difficulties. He is also co-author with his late wife, Heather, on a book of Children's Sermons called "No Prep No Prop." Ken is currently working on publishing his third book: Prayer - Simply Breathe scheduled to come out later this summer. His education includes a B.S. degree from East Carolina University and M.Div from Asbury Theological Seminary. He is certified as a premarital and marriage counselor through Prepare/Enrich since 1998 and received certification in Spiritual Formation and Spiritual Direction from Garrett-Evangelical Seminary in 2015. In Ken's free time, he enjoys spending time out in the beauty of creation in a variety of ways: hiking, camping, fishing, hunting and more. You'll also find him delving into more writing and reading and enjoying Star Wars on a regular basis! African Shaman Teachings for Life & Beyond
— The root cause of sickness is disharmony inside, which filters outward from our inner landscape to the outside world. The warfare and disharmony around our planet today speak to a profound imbalance of the inner world of mankind. It is not surprising, then, that according to the World Health Organization, the leading causes of death in the world are heart disease and stroke. Our inner mental and psychological states can have a profound effect on our physical bodies. To correct this, we each have a responsibility to listen to our hearts. Valeria Teles interviews John Lockley — the author of "Leopard Warrior: A Journey into the African Teachings of Ancestry, Instinct, and Dreams." John Lockley is a fully initiated and ordained Sangoma (African Shaman) from the Xhosa nation, the same nation as Nelson Mandela & Desmond Tutu in South Africa. His apprenticeship took 10 years. He was one of the first modern white men in recent times after Apartheid to be awarded the title of 'Ligqira Linkulu' by his elders, meaning senior Sangoma. He has pioneered the bridge between modern western Psychology and traditional South African healing. His Xhosa name given by his teacher is 'Ucingolweendaba' meaning 'the messenger or bridge between cultures'. He is also a sangoma in the Swazi tradition and called 'Gogo Moya'. For the last 10 years he has been facilitating 'Ubuntu' (Humanity) and Way of the Leopard retreats worldwide, teaching people how they can reconnect to their Ancestors, Spirit and the Earth. Minimalism: A Path To Abundant Living

A Direct Path To Inner Peace & Clarity
— "Living a life with no fear and recognizing that death is an illusion, makes it worth it." The nature of ultimate reality can only be understood when looking from its own viewpoint. That is to say, one's conditioned perspective of reality must be put aside. The simplest explanation is to consider that one's life in the world and universe has the characterization of a dream. Into this dream, each dreamer is born. To the dreamer, the world and universe have the appearance of being real. The dreamer takes himself to be real, and therefore the world and universe this person is "in" to be real. The dreamer "knows" that he has "come into" this life, therefore at some point he will "go out" of life. The dreamer "knows" that although he will die, the world and universe and fellow dreamers will persists after his death; that the dream will continue when the dreamer no longer exists. None of this is so. When the dreamer ceases to be, the dream ceases to be. Only within the dream is it a legitimate question to ask, "How then can life and the world and universe be?" Any answer would entail the processes of time, space and cause—and—effect. Such processes occur only within the dream itself. Therefore, any answer will be an answer within the unreal dream. The point is that all that is apparent to the dreamer is simply that: an illusory appearance. What appears to be real or actual is not the same thing as what is real or actual. What is actual, is ultimate reality. Ultimate reality can be characterized as empty; no-thing or nothingness. Valeria Teles interviews Robert Wolfe — the author of "Emptiness: Robert Wolfe On The Ultimate Teaching Of Ajata/Sunyata." Robert Wolfe, 85, lives in Ojai, California. He has been teaching Self-realization for more than 30 years. He is the author of: Living Nonduality, Abiding in Nondual Awareness, Awakening to Infinite Presence, Always–Only–One, Ramana Maharshi: The Teachings of Self-Realization, One Essence, Science of the Sages and The Enlightenment Teachings of Jesus: The Gospel of Thomas. True Embodiment Of Universal Truth
— "The truth is everything serves us in one form or another. Nothing is inherently bad or good but rather neutral. It's us that gives it the context." Valeria Teles interviews Loncen Gray — a Certified Professional Integrative Coach and Speaker. Loncen Gray is a Certified Professional Integrative Coach, he combines his knowledge skills and experience into a unique offering to help creative leaders work through challenges and carve a path towards their desires. He takes an integrative approach to development, utilizing movement, games, and immersive techniques to help experience shifts in perspective, and become more self generative. He enjoys exploring a diverse set of interests and finding ways to combine them into new offerings. Loncen Gray is committed to his Vision which is to foster deep transformational experiences for individuals and groups, helping them to live their truth. His story has a lot to do with integrating power, freedom, and a healthy self image. At a young age, he didn't know what it was like to have a sense of power. There was a skewed version traveling through his lineage, only to end up on his door step. Loncen's dad was a rather intensely scary individual. This made it rather difficult to embody, let alone understand what a healthy sense of power was. Through his early years, he learned to be subservient to not rock the boat. He also did a lot of spiritual bypassing as he swore he would never be like him. For years, he managed to avoid difficult emotions, choosing instead to swallow the grenade. It worked until he came across the right relationship that brought up all the things he was avoiding. For the first time in his life, he started to experience rage filled outbursts. At the time he didn't know that he could experience emotions without having to act on them. he would often lose control screaming at the top of my lungs when he felt violated. This was always followed by feelings of guilt and shame, with lots of self-judgment. Today he's in a much different place. He is experiencing what true power is, which is the power of directed focus and choice. While experiencing a true sense of sovereignty and personal authority.
