Brandon Carrell with BC Insurance of Texas
Brandon Carrell is the owner/agent of BC Insurance of Texas based in Stephenville, Texas. Being an avid team roper himself, we talk about the importance of having an agent who understands all things farm and ranching and how that can help you get the right policies. He also explains the recent spike in the cost of insurance and how the economy and inflation affect the price of policies. This was an eye-opening conversation and a useful resource for anyone with questions about how insurance works.

Entertainment and Education
With all the big rodeos and roping being live-streamed now, it's never been easier to watch the best guys in the world compete at a very high level. That said, for most ropers that should be for entertainment and not what you should be modeling your roping after. The best examples of a solid roping foundation can be found at the rope horse futurities and how those guys use their horses to get into position and set the run up so their heelers have the best opportunity to catch.

Brock Hanson
Brock Hanson is among the handiest guys ever to swing a rope. He is a National Finals Qualifier on the head side and is just as talented with a heel rope. Brock is one if not the most sought-after helpers for all the rope horse futurities across the country. It was great hearing how he prepares for the number of runs he gets at those events and how he stays sharp mentally to deliver for all the guys who trust him to get the job done.

Booting Your Horse In Muddy Conditions
I wanted to share my opinion on how to boot your horse up when the arena conditions are muddy and less than ideal. Also, why it's important no matter what the situation is to have some type of protection on your horse's legs.
