Christina Medina, Mindset to Manifestation

Christina is not only a podcast host of mindset to manifestation, but she is also a real estate broker, a sales professional, and a Reiki master. Christina tells us how her background in art has helped her creativity in selling real estate within New York.Christina is the phoenix that rose from the ashes. Having grown up from extremely humble beginnings with teenage parents who later exposed her to an environment of drugs, getting married then divorced, and then being one of the oldest students in her undergraduate class, she started doing yoga and meditating. Through this spiritual journey, Christina has emerged as one of the best real estate agents in New York, selling high-end properties and signature developments and with a successful podcast. Christina incorporated all these in her real estate business where she shares with us some creativity tips she has used in her industry including:Christina believes that 95% of sales is the energy you portray to people as it reflects what you're feeling. It's about how you’re making this person feel when they are around you. When working on the developer/ seller side, you're selling a product, you're meeting new people with every appointment, you must really use those creative juicesFollowing her Coaching background, Christina is teaching people how to transfer that energy in sales and real estate sector by making them unlearn some things and then build it back up because people have this preconceived idea of what sales is. This has led to teaching these habits on her Mindset to manifestion podcast. What lies ahead for Christina after she has finished reassessing and reinventing herself, and taking time to reflect on herself and what she wants to give back to herself, she wants to make an impact more on a big corporate level because I feel like those leaders in those companies need to have that awareness  Bio:Christina Medina is a certified life coach, blogger, and podcast host who is passionate about teaching others how to use the power of manifestation to uncover their inner magic. As the founder and CEO of Mindset to Manifestation, she provides one-on-one coaching, workshops, and other services to people who are serious about wanting to transform their lives.Christina overcame several obstacles as a child, including growing up with family members who struggled with substance abuse and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Determined to see more of the world and make it on her own, Christina moved out of her family home at the age of 17 and worked several jobs to support herself. She worked her way through university studying visual art, and in 2007 made her dream come true by moving to NYC. In 2009, feeling the impact of the recession, Christina lost her dream job in an art gallery. Because she was determined to make it work in a city she always dreamed of living in, she started bartending at night to support herself. It was during this time that Christina also started working at a yoga studio by day, where she learned more about yoga, meditation, and Reiki. It was then that she had the epiphany that she wanted to help people for a living as a life coach. She received her coaching certification in 2011 and worked with several clients who needed guidance. However, Christina realized that she wasn’t generating enough income to replace her bartending job so she decided to try her hands at real estate too in order to fund her coaching business and expand her services. There she applied her mindset techniques to real estate to attract more abundance, and this is where she truly transformed her life. It wasn’t long before Christina quickly rose to the top of the industry due to her people skills, fierce ambition, and ability to manifest her deepest desires. Despite attaining a high level of success and prestige, she realized that she wanted more and missed helping others break through mental barriers.Christina decided to merge her two passions (manifestation and real estate) and organized frequent mindset workshops for real estate agents who wanted to learn how to meditate, develop an abundance mindset and overcome their fears. Confident that she’d found her calling, Christina launched the official Mindset to Manifestation podcast in 2018 to connect with others who wish to bring more abundance into their lives. Now Christina is passionate about helping others develop the right mindset and dive within so they can make their dreams a reality through the power of manifestation. You can follow Christina’s work and connect with her on:FB Group:  https://www.facebook.com/mindsettomanifestationIG: https://www.instagram.com/christinamedinanyc/https://www.instagram.com/mindsettomanifestation/Official Page: https://www.mindsettomanifestation.com/LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/christinareneemedina/

Rachel Tapscott and Greg Monaco, Personal Brand Stories

Today we have a "mini-global summit" on personal branding. Our featured guests are Rachel Tapscott and Greg Monaco.Rachel Tapscott runs a video production and training business called That Camera Girl.“I help people shake off their nerves and overcome a fear of the camera so they can get their message out into the world to the person who needs to hear it. I also host my own podcast called Mindset Mastery, interviewing people who live their life by design and the practices they incorporate into their daily lives. I’d love to offer myself as a guest to talk about building confidence to put yourself and your brand out there on video. I noticed the same patterns and limiting beliefs pop up with dozens of different clients, and I was able to formulate a process for helping people feel more confident and look natural on camera. I believe that anyone can be great on camera, you just need the self-belief to start.Rachel says you're not "too old", "too inexperienced", "too introverted", or "too-anything else." You're exactly where you need to be to start growing your business with video.Rachel talks about:how using video in your business strategy can help you attract the right customers and clientshow to identify the limiting beliefs you may have about talking on camerahow to kick fear in the butt and create videos you're proud to shareRachel’s background“I studied a degree in film, TV, and radio, and like most people who go through film school, I wanted to work on massive blockbuster productions and become a Director of Photography. My first job was as a regional news camera operator and editor before moving into corporate video production. Originally these roles were a stepping stone to build up my camera skills to get closer to that movie-making dream. But my focus completely changed when I saw how video could change people's lives. With video, I'm able to help clients take their years of experience and package it into a product that can reach people all over the world. This is even more important where lockdowns, restrictions, and uncertainty mean that online teaching is the only option for many businesses.”YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFi0izf8O9PXQARNJfTX5_Qwebsite: http://thatcameragirl.com/IG: https://www.instagram.com/that_cameragirl/We also are joined by Greg Monaco, Brand and Story Coach.Greg says, “I help people tell magnetic stories so they attract the work they love. Marc Sellouk, Flewber Air Taxi Service

In today’s episode, we chat with Marc Sellouk, an entrepreneur CEO changing the aviation industry by bringing an on-demand air taxi to the skies called Flewber to the world. Flewber connects travelers to hundreds of private aircraft throughout the Northwest region. They leverage their own aircraft along with a vast network of partner operators, to deliver on-demand, private and regional flights. Marc spent almost 20 years in the technology industry where he upon selling his company, made a good fortune from it.  His passion had always been to get into aviation as an aviator. but he needed to figure out how to take that passion and turn it into a business. Taping into the existing frustrations of frequent flyers, his passion met his entrepreneurial spirit. His journey in the past 4 years since he started Flewber, has included: First-year to identify the void and build that proof of concept. Second-year was about building revenue. Third-year was about putting those two together, putting it out in the marketplace, and getting customers to bite- to buy into the product.Marc tells us a couple of things he has learned from being the CEO of a groundbreaking company such as FlewbersIt's important to be able to pivot. As an entrepreneur, you have to be able to be dynamic enough to be able to shift, to acknowledge this isn't working and this is not going to be able to scale.Set your objectives by: Surrounding yourself with the right people, executing what you've laid out, and being confident in the product to actually put it out thereYour sign that whatever product you have built will be a success is when you take that product and put it out in the marketplace and people bite, people are subscribing to try it out, people want to be involved in the initial try out, people are talking about it then you know your product will be a success. You have to be able to adapt to scale properly, there are two things Marc considers when scaling: People and how people affect the growth of the company, and systems, how systems play into effect that growth.  Team collaboration is very key in any companies growth.  You have to be able to bring on new people and delegate, take on suggestions, listen to people, listen to what they have to say. Flewber's focus moving forward into 2022 is customer-centric. Getting right customer experience, customer satisfaction, and customer service. Marc and his team are listening and making those changes and showing the consumers that we're listening to them. In addition, Marc and the Flewber team want to take this model and expand not only nationwide, but globally, across various markets. Resources Flewber Website: Flewber.comFlewber on ios Flewber AppFlewber on play store Flewber AppFacebook  FlewberTwitter FlewberAir

CerVon Campbell, Singer/Songwriter

In today’s episode, we're talking with singer-songwriter. CerVon Campbell.  Cervon is an artist known for what has been called a soulful sound and venting lyrics. Cervon’s music is about day-to-day experiences that he faces in his life. Cervon gets his inspiration from bands like Lumineers, Go West, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. One of the great songs he has written, created, performed, and produced is a collaboration with John Oates called DND, which inspired him to take a different approach on beats, and even rapping over a ukulele. As a creative, we asked Cervon what his approach to creating music, where he gets his new ideas and new songs from?He says writing is a major part of the process. He will start with a line or two lines, or sometimes there's a word somewhere in his discography. Then little by little, he’ll put the lines together, put the words together and come up with a little bit written down. Once, he has a song like this is his verse, this becomes his hook. When he’s ready to record, he will find all the music, find a bunch of instruments and, put them together.  How did he and John connect so as to work on DND together?  He and John connected through Instagram when John liked a couple of his posts. When Cervon jokingly told him if he liked his music so much they should make music together, to his surprise John DMed him his contacts and the collaboration took off from there.  Cervon says John brings a more organic feel, more realness to it, by bringing in real instruments, How has that collaboration impacted or rippled into some of his other newer music? All the music he has made since then has had real instrumentsHe wants at least 80% instrument in his songs. When performing, he intends to fully perform with a band.John changed Cervon's perspective of music in that he was able to look within himself and think about his image and who he was as an artist. In summary, Cervon believes by exposing people to new music, it will stimulate some new creative thinking for writers and musicians and people will be more open and appreciative of this music.  You can find Cervon at the following handles:Apple music: Cervon CampbellSpotify: Cervon CampbellSoundcloud: Cervon CampbellTwitter:@vervon campbellInstagram: sexymonkeylimodriverWebsite: https://beatcha.in/cervoncampbellCerVon and I discuss his collaboration with John Oates from Hall & Oates on his latest release DND. Music tracks are copyrighted, provided by the artist, and used with permission.

Hemanth Padmanabhan, Global Brand Leader

In today’s episode, we chat with Hemanth Padmanabhan, Executive Director, Global Brand Launch Lead, who shares his passion for innovation and collaboration in biotechnology at Dicerna Pharmaceuticals. Hemanth brings experience as a Marketing professional with Product Management, Market Research, Consulting, and Business Analysis experience. We talk about some of the creative things that he is seeing in the life sciences and biotech industries. Today, Hemanth tells us about the rare disease business, the number of rare diseases there are, the millions of dollars invested in it, and the process of working on a rare disease drug which they are trying to get this drug through clinical trials to apply to the FDA and get it approved. However, before that is achieved the question they need to answer is how do they diagnose these patients effectively in a timely manner? The solution is sponsored genetic testing. This is where they help patients get access to free genetic testing so that they can get themselves tested if they have certain symptoms. Finding a balance between speed and diligence is one of their challenges. Hemanth and his team are using education to solve this. They are educating the marketplace to, get those physicians to, diagnose quicker, through their website which has information on rare diseases like uncovering PH.  Team collaboration is key in this industry, as there are many moving parts. Team alignment in their thinking is of utmost value to building the drugs and listening and meeting the needs of their patients.  One of the cutting-edge methods the Dierna team has come up with is self-injection. This is where the patient can get this drug shipped to their home, as well as injected themselves. The patient does not have to go into the physician's office. This saves them from having to get insurance or traveling on a monthly or a quarterly basis to go into a physician's office. As a professional leading such a team, Hemanth gets his inspiration and creative solutions from Nature. He is always hiking and going for runs. These activities help him make connections mentally, that he wouldn't have made if he was sitting in front of a computer or actually working. Cause you have some focused thinking to do there. In conclusion, Hemanth believes in strengthening relationships with people. “I think you need to be open to helping people. When you start with helping people at some point in your life, they get back to you and they help you when you need it.”  His future plans include working on a project that will have a real impact on the happiness level of people by writing a book.   Company Website: DicernaLinkedIn: Hemanth Padmanabhan
