Cecilia Tement is a Transformational Story Coach (Certified Coaches Federation), Trauma Recovery Specialist, Author and Motivational Speaker. She is a graduate of Ryerson University’s Radio and Television Arts Program and has worked extensively as a community outreach officer, child advocate worker, event planner and fundraiser.   Having lived through child abuse and growing up with traumatic experiences from her past, Cecilia decided to confront her abusive father and shift out of the negative mindset that was holding her back. Instead of living and re-living pain, she felt the compelling need to move forward even though she was scared of what would happen. In what was a life changing moment, she sought closure by finally telling her father how she really felt. She expressed how deeply his actions had dramatically impacted her life. He had no choice but to hear the hard truth.  In order to release herself from pent-up toxicity, she freely forgave him, but also held him accountable. If she didn’t see real change in him, she vowed their relationship (including the grandchildren) would be indefinitely severed. This prompted a fresh start, and a new father-daughter bond finally flourished. This journey from pain to redemption is chronicled in Cecilia’s new children’s book, “If I Could, I Would: A Child’s Journey from Abuse to Hope.” Her book has already been heralded as a breakthrough literary piece that tackles the difficult subject of domestic violence. The tone is honest, yet palatable for all audiences including young children. The takeaway for the reader is a feeling of not being alone and finding a renewed sense of hope.   Cecilia now uses her personal story as inspiration to fuel her journey in helping to change people’s lives. Michael Butler launched his entrepreneurial career at 15 when an ad he ran in the newspaper for lawn mowing got him 14 customers. Not old enough to drive he had to hire a driver to make sure his customers got serviced. He later sold that business and went on to start a Janitorial company which grew to 1 million in annual revenue in the first year. Butler would later sell that company and found his passion in the direct sales space. Training his sales teams to write a book, adopt a non-profit and speak on stage the natural next step was to start a social media marketing firm, which he did. After Bible College Butler loved the Pastoral work of the ministry for a decade and a half. Being a people person and a natural story-teller Butler loved the travel side of the ministry and spoke to 3,000 audiences in many states and multiple continents.  Before anyone was on Facebook, Butler and his teams supporting authors and book launches were marketing their team members on Myspace.
