It took a complete health crash to lead Kristen Bowen to create Living the Good Life Naturally in 2002. Autoimmune issues and a series of failed surgeries left Kristen bedridden and depressed, with daily seizures. Through research and looking for outside the box solutions, she discovered that to regain her health she needed to build a strong foundation. That foundation included food as medicine and the number one building block for optimal health: Magnesium. She discovered that oral magnesium was not effective and began using liquid magnesium as a foot soak, finding that the body could utilize it more effectively.  As Kristen’s health improved, she began to research and create natural bath and body products for herself, family, and friends with skin sensitivities. She began sharing her knowledge as she researched and found clean sources of whole food supplements and minerals. She never intended to start a business, but friends offered to pay her for her products and advice. Living the Good Life Naturally was created.  Starting with one-on-one consultations with clients, to farmers markets for the bath and body line, Kristen’s business quickly moved from the small kitchen and extra bedroom in her home to a retail space in Logan, Utah. She hosted a Rocky Mountain Regional radio show for seven years where she answered questions on natural health. This led to workshops and keynote opportunities at natural health conferences. A native Angeleno, De Camille attended the Lycee Francais at age six and went on to study art and fashion at the Paris American Academy and the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris where she had a one-woman sell-out show in Montmartre. The world of the French Cabaret has continued to inspire her work.  There is a sense of the collector and traveler in her work having lived abroad for five years.  From the Caribbean islands of Montserrat and Grenada to Paris and Bath UK, she takes from the past to update it through her unique and quirky lens. A strong theme in her work is the iconic female form.  For ten thousand years we have been haunted and inspired by the dazzling mother/ goddess/ temptress/ angel. Her work is a synthesis of Pop Culture through a dream-like state; her technique is layered.  It may start with the collaging of a Blue Print and images to set the scene or create the impressions for the structure of the work.  She experiments with various mediums to create altered states of texture such as; saw dust, paint medium; egg yolk; tea bags; paper; found objects. Courtney James has been in the Toronto Canada film and television industry for 25 years working from the ground up on Hollywood productions, Netflix and Amazon series, network shows, music videos, web series, commercials, and independent features. Roles have included Actor, stand in, stunt man, PA, grip, assistant director, director, writer, and producer. I consider myself a jack of all trades and have made the rounds.  Courtney was a competitive swimmer at the national level in Canada for 11 years of his life and he was on a junior Canadian tour team when he was 12 and 14. He went to Olympic trials in 92 and 96. He was forced to end my career due to shoulder injuries during university.  Courtney’s first paid acting job was the lead in a Hootie and the Blowfish music video ‘I will wait’ ... Princes (including prince Andrew) music stars, celebrities, and titans of industry went to this school in the middle of nowhere. It’s part of the schools of trinity in the commonwealth. It led him to living in Australia for a year ... his father did an exchange program with another school part of the trinity. This institution was called TSS (the Southport school) This was when Courtney was 9 years old ... This is when he started swimming.  Courtney went to McMaster University in Canada and graduated with honors in film and drama . He thought he wanted to be an actor but realized in my early twenties that he was more drawn to writing and directing. For the last 25 years Courtney has written and directed 95 plus projects and counting.
