3657 Another One Bites the Dust

What happens when your child makes a bad decision, and you are left picking up the pieces? Just because your child makes a bad choice does not mean you're a terrible parentβ€” another one bites the dust. As parents, we all want the best for our children. However, despite our best efforts, they may sometimes make decisions that leave us feeling helpless and worried. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com When faced with a child who has made a bad decision, it's important to remember that while we have influence, we can't control their every move. I know we like to think that we do. But in reality, we don't. No matter how we look at it. All we can do is take what's in front of us and deal with the situation accordingly to the severity or lack there of. What have you experienced with your children recently? Did you handle it with ease and little frustration? If only it were that simple. But it can be if you operate from the facts, not the feelings. The K.I.S.S. ~ Operate from facts, not feelings! Here are three things you can do to maintain your sanity and personal peace while continuing to influence your child in a positive manner: 1. Nip it in the bud. While it's important to be understanding and supportive, it's also crucial to establish boundaries and consequences for your child's actions. By setting clear expectations and enforcing reasonable consequences that are age-appropriate, you can help your child understand the impact of their decisions and learn from their mistakes. 2. Facilitate opportunities for consistency. Consistency is key in parenting. Be consistent in your expectations, rules, and consequences to provide your child with a sense of stability and structure. 3. Encourage positive reinforcement. Focus on highlighting and praising your child's positive behaviors and decisions. By recognizing and rewarding their good choices, you can help build their self-esteem and reinforce positive behavior. No matter how you look at it, parenting takes work. It's exhausting one moment and exhilarating another moment. So, you get to choose how you approach raising your kids. But here's the thing: I believe in your abilities. Don't give up. Ya got this! 3655 Break Bad Habits for a Healthier Tomorrow

Breaking bad habits is essential for achieving optimal health and well-being. While many individuals have good intentions, you still must break bad habits today for a healthier tomorrow. As you know, overcoming entrenched habits can be challenging. Research indicates that breaking bad habits is crucial for long-term health benefits, both physically and mentally. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Why don't we break bad habits? Not breaking bad habits can have detrimental effects on various aspects of one's life. Here are some reasons why one might hesitate to break bad habits: 1. Comfort Zone: Bad habits often provide comfort and familiarity, making it challenging to step out of the routine and embrace change. 2. Fear of Failure: Breaking bad habits can be daunting, and the fear of relapsing or not succeeding may discourage individuals from even trying. 3. Instant Gratification: Bad habits often offer immediate gratification or relief, outweighing the long-term consequences they may have on health and well-being. 4. Lack of Awareness: Some individuals may not fully understand or acknowledge the negative impact of their bad habits, leading to complacency. 5. Lack of Support: Breaking bad habits may require support from friends, family, or professionals. Without a support system, individuals may find it difficult to make sustainable changes. 6. Emotional Attachments: Some bad habits are deeply rooted in emotions or psychological triggers, making them harder to overcome without addressing underlying issues. Why Break Bad Habits: Studies have shown that bad habits, such as smoking, excessive sugar consumption, or a sedentary lifestyle, can have detrimental effects on overall health. For example, smoking is linked to various health issues, including lung cancer and heart disease, while excessive sugar intake can lead to obesity and diabetes. Breaking these habits can significantly reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases and improve quality of life. The K.I.S.S. ~ Break the old and create the new! Three Strategies to Break Bad Habits and Replace Them with Good Ones: 1. Identify Triggers and Create a Plan: - Recognize the triggers that lead to engaging in the bad habit. For instance, if stress triggers the habit of unhealthy snacking, find alternative stress-relief activities like meditation or going for a walk. - Develop a detailed plan to address triggers. If late-night snacking is a problem, plan and prepare healthy snacks like cut-up veggies or fruit to curb cravings. 2. Start Small and Stay Consistent: - Break the habit into smaller manageable steps. For example, if the goal is to reduce soda intake, start by replacing one soda with a glass of water per day. - Consistency is key to forming new habits. Set specific, achievable goals and track progress. Celebrate small victories along the way to stay motivated. 3. Find Healthy Replacements: - Replace the bad habit with a healthier alternative. If mindless scrolling on social media is a habit, swap that time with reading a book or going for a workout. - Make healthy choices readily available. Stock up on nutritious foods, sign up for fitness classes, or join a support group to stay on track. Breaking bad habits requires commitment, determination, and resilience. By understanding the impact of unhealthy habits on overall health and implementing strategies to break them, you can have a better tomorrow. Remember, it's never too late to make positive changes today for a healthier tomorrow. "Be present. Be incredible. 3654 Discipline is the Difference

Have you ever felt that initial burst of motivation, only for it to fizzle out over time? You start off with grand plans and high ambitions, ready to conquer the world. But then life throws curveballs, and suddenly, your goals seem out of reach untilβ€” discipline is the difference! It's a common scenario - we start with enthusiasm, but as days pass, our motivation wanes. Soon, what once seemed like a burning desire is reduced to a mere afterthought. It's not a conscious decision to quit; it's a gradual drift into inaction. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com The danger of drifting is real. Days turn into weeks, weeks into months, and before you know it, years have slipped through your fingers. The culprit? Overreliance on motivation. Motivation is a fair-weather friend; it shows up when things are going well but vanishes when challenges arise. That's why those who consistently succeed don't rely on motivation alone; they rely on discipline and systems that keep them on track, regardless of how they feel. Winners understand that motivation is fleeting, but discipline is enduring. By establishing solid structures like habits, routines, and accountability measures, they create a framework that propels them forward, even on the toughest days. The K.I.S.S. ~ Discipline is the difference! So, this week, I challenge you to ponder: What system or discipline can you implement today to make progress a habit? It's not about pushing harder than others; it's about setting yourself up for success so that falling behind becomes impossible. You have the power to create an environment where progress isn't a struggle but a natural outcome of your efforts. By prioritizing discipline over fleeting motivation, you pave the way for sustained success. Don't wait for motivation to strike. Instead, harness the transformative power of discipline and systems to propel you towards your goals. Today is the day to lay the foundation for your success. Embrace discipline, embrace progress, and watch as you soar to new heights. Remember, discipline is the difference between wishing for success and achieving it. Let today mark the beginning of your disciplined journey towards greatness. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness!" ~ Kristianne Wargo "Be present. Be incredible. 3653 What's Driving Your Excuses?

Life is not about what you are doing right, but more about what's driving your excuses. If you focused more on your purpose, the passion would fuel your everyday presence, and then you would not be contemplating whether you're good enough. But how many of your days are lived in that manner? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Are you choosing to wake up with hope in your step to guide your actions with discipline? Or have you been hiding out with your excuses because you know them all too well? And if you're comfortable, there's no reason to change. But let's get real on this beautiful day! You are created for more, destined to create your now. So, what's driving your excuses? What makes you feel stuck and keeps you settled in that chair of comfort? Causes for Feeling Stuck: 1. Fear of Failure: The fear of not succeeding or living up to expectations can be a powerful driver of excuses. This fear can paralyze us and prevent us from taking risks or stepping outside our comfort zones. 2. Lack of Clarity: Uncertainty about our purpose or direction in life can lead to indecision and inaction. Without a clear vision of where we want to go, it's easy to get caught up in excuses and distractions. 3. Negative Self-Talk: Negative beliefs about our capabilities or worthiness can undermine our confidence and fuel self-doubt. This negative self-talk can create a barrier to pursuing our purpose with conviction. The K.I.S.S. ~ Break the chains of excuses! You can break the chains of excuses when you decide to do it. Otherwise, you will keep doing what has not worked for you in the past. So what do you want? Ways to Break Free: 1. Challenge Your Limiting Beliefs: Identify and challenge the negative beliefs that are holding you back. Replace them with positive affirmations and reminders of your strengths and past achievements. 2. Set Small, Achievable Goals: Break down your larger purpose into smaller, manageable goals. By taking small steps towards your vision, you can build momentum and confidence, overcoming the inertia of excuses. 3. Cultivate and Celebrate with a Supportive Environment: Surround yourself with people who believe in your potential and encourage you to pursue your purpose. Seek out mentors, coaches, or like-minded individuals who can provide guidance and accountability. One way to look at what to do next is to ask yourself: What do I want to cuddle up with? What do I value? Where do I want to be tomorrow? Don't cloud your expectations with dreams that are too big to come true tomorrow. Take the next step and create your now. 3651 Love Did It Again

Over time, when marriage includes that consistency of loving unconditionally, extending grace, and learning to do life together, it opens both hearts to grow closer together as time passes. What you want now takes time. Love did it again. And it does it again over and over because you commit every day. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com If you haven't noticed, the honeymoon phase fades away after being married for a few years and beyond, leaving little room for the bubbling-over romance. Real life creeps in, and life takes over your schedule and sometimes your heart. But if we all were to buy into this thought, no one would stay married. Everyone would find a way or reason to divorce. Yet, just like fine wine, marriage gets better with time. So what if you could have that fine marriage you really want, are you willing to put in the work and the consistency? I guess that you most certainly are! What would that take for you to commit? To actually say every day that this is the marriage you want and the way you will go? It's all in the decision! The K.I.S.S. ~ Decide! Most of what we get doesn't come from a dream but an action. You have to decide and take AIM! Here are three key strategies for couples to stay dedicated to each other and nurture their bond, knowing that love has the power to transform and grow: 1. Practice Active Listening: Communication is the cornerstone of a strong and healthy marriage. Take the time to truly listen to your partner without interrupting or forming your response in your mind. Show empathy, understanding, and validation towards their thoughts and feelings. By actively listening, you demonstrate respect and care for your spouse, fostering a deeper connection and trust in the relationship. 2. Prioritize Quality Time Together: In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it's easy for couples to become caught up in their individual responsibilities and neglect quality time together. Make a conscious effort to carve out moments for just the two of you to bond and connect. Whether it's a weekly date night, a weekend getaway, or simply enjoying a quiet evening at home, investing in shared experiences strengthens your emotional intimacy and reinforces your commitment to each other. 3. Celebrate Each Other and Your Growth: As individuals, we are constantly evolving and learning. In a marriage, it's important to support and celebrate each other's personal growth and achievements. Acknowledge and appreciate the efforts your partner makes towards self-improvement and encourage them to pursue their passions and goals. By cheering each other on and being each other's greatest cheerleader, you create a supportive and loving environment that nurtures the growth of your relationship. Put on your big girl panties! Every day, show up filled up for your spouse. YES!!! Life is going to be crazy and chaotic. But if you do it together, it's much better than doing it alone and being hateful to each other. Dish up a cup of love and bask in life together forever. "Be present. Be incredible. 3650 Staying Strong During Tough Times

Being a parent is a challenging yet rewarding role, especially when your child is going through some big moments. Staying strong during tough times might be one of the most complicated and pivotal moments for you as a parent. It's natural to feel emotionally drained and overwhelmed while striving to provide the support and strength your child needs. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com You give to them as much as ensuring everyone else in the family is cared for. It's a tightrope act no one wants to participate in, but one that every parent gets a taste of at some point in their life. Parenting is not fair. However, you can help yourself and your child maneuver their way through the tough times and stay balanced on the tightrope of life. The K.I.S.S. ~ Balance the tightrope! Now, there are some basics that most parents use to balance the tightrope: prioritize self-care, practice open communication, and seek professional help. Indeed, there is SO much more. Here are a few other things to think about. 1. Practice Patience and Understanding: Emotions may run high during challenging periods, and tensions may escalate. Parents need to practice patience and understanding, both with their children and themselves. Recognize that everyone copes differently and that it's okay to experience a range of emotions. You can create a nurturing environment that fosters healing and growth by showing empathy and understanding. Extending a hand with your heart will reach a lot deeper. 2. Encourage Positive Coping Mechanisms: Help your child develop healthy coping mechanisms to navigate complex emotions and situations. Encourage activities that promote relaxation, such as meditation, journaling, art therapy, or exercise. By empowering your children to express themselves in positive ways, you can help them build resilience and emotional strength to face challenges head-on. 3. Establish Routine and Stability: During tumultuous times, establishing a sense of routine and stability can provide comfort and security for your child. Create a predictable schedule that includes time for relaxation, connection, and self-care. Consistency in daily routines can help your child feel grounded and supported, even amidst uncertainty. Also, fostering a stable home environment can offer your child a sense of security and safety during turbulent times. Mom (and Dad)β€” You can create a supportive and nurturing environment to help your child navigate tough times with resilience and strength. And when you put it all together, that's where the magic happens, empowering you and your child to thrive in the face of adversity. "Be present. Be incredible. Yet, deep within your heart, you know you are meant to break the mold. You are made for more! You have a purpose, a calling that God has placed within you, waiting to be unleashed; it's bubbling up and bubbling over. Despite the challenges and setbacks, it's time to break the mold and pursue your dreams with a determination that inspires your soul. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Remember, I've gotten ill a few times this year, but that hasn't deterred me from what I am doing here at Create Your Now. Yes, it has slowed some projects, but I still keep going. Instead of being discouraged by setbacks, see them as opportunities for your comebacks. Each setback is a stepping stoneβ€” think of it as a bouncing ball that propels you closer to where you want to be. A setback can put a spring in your step if you let it. So embrace the challenges. Look at them as what they are, nothing more or nothing less. "Don't attach your heart to the outcome of your failure." ~ Kristianne Wargo That's where your resilience muscle grows. While it may seem like all this is good and well, time still is not on your side. Yet, time is merely a tool in your hands. It's not a limitation but a resource to be managed wisely. You can make the most of every moment by prioritizing your tasks, setting boundaries, and focusing on what truly matters. Use time as a tool, not as an excuse, to break the mold. The K.I.S.S. ~ Break the mold! But here's the reality. When setbacks and delays test your patience, take a deep breath and recall that God's timing is perfect. You have got to remind yourself of God's watch, not yours. Trust in His plan for your life, knowing that each delay is part of a greater design. Your dreams are not forgotten; they are simply unfolding according to His divine timing. Have faith, stay steadfast, and believe that everything will fall into place at the right moment. Despite the challenges and setbacks, never lose sight of the purpose burning within your heart. Your dreams are worth pursuing with unwavering passion and your presence. Let your passion be the fuel that propels your purpose forward, driving you to break the mold and reach new heavenly heights here on earth. As you navigate through the challenges and busyness of your day, remember that you are destined for greatness. Your watch is yelling at you that it's time to break the mold! "Be present. 3648 Take It As A New Season

In our journey towards healthy living, we often encounter obstacles and temptations that can derail our progress. However, every new day presents a fresh opportunityβ€” take it as a new season. Just like the changing seasons, you can view each day as a new beginning for healthy living. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com What does your day look like now? Are you pressed for time? Are your finances holding you back? Do your excuses make it easier to not do what you know you need to do? Maybe the pain isn't significant enough and the status quo is okay for now. But how are you going to feel 2 days from now, or 2 weeks, or 2 months? If you want to live healthy and enjoy life more, having boundaries and making yourself a priority this Spring is the best way to rock your new season! The K.I.S.S. ~ Rock your new season! Here are three simple strategies to help prioritize healthy living even when life gets busy: 1. Set Realistic Goals: Begin by setting achievable and realistic goals for yourself. Whether it's committing to a 30-minute workout, preparing homemade meals instead of ordering takeout, or getting a good night's sleep, setting specific goals can help you stay on track even during hectic days. 2. Create a Routine: Establishing a daily routine that includes healthy habits can make it easier to prioritize your health. Schedule your workouts or meal prep sessions at the same time each day to create consistency. Having a routine can help you stay organized and ensure that healthy choices become a natural part of your day. 3. Practice Self-Care: Remember that taking care of yourself is essential for overall well-being. Incorporate self-care activities such as meditation, pilates, yoga, or simply taking a few moments to unwind and relax. By prioritizing self-care, you can reduce stress, improve your mental health, and make healthier choices throughout the day. By approaching each day as a new season and embracing the opportunity for growth and positive change, you can make healthy living a priority even when life gets busy. Remember, every small choice you make contributes to your overall health and well-being. So, take it one day at a time.
