Patrick Frank: Nobody understands climate | Tom Nelson Pod #139
Patrick Frank is a physical methods experimental chemist. BS, MS, San Francisco State University; PhD, Stanford University; Bergmann Postdoctoral Fellow, The Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel. Now Emeritus scientific staff of the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory and the Department of Chemistry, Stanford University. He has 67 publications in bioinorganic chemistry including among others the unusual metal active site in blue copper electron transport proteins, the first X-ray spectroscopic evidence for through-sigma-bond electron transfer, falsification of rack-induced bonding theory, deriving the asymmetric solvation structure of dissolved cupric ion (which overturned 60 years of accepted wisdom), and resolving the highly unusual and ancient (Cambrian) biological chemistry of vanadium and sulfuric acid in blood cells of the sea squirt Ascidia ceratodes. He also has peer-reviewed publications on the intelligent design myth, the science is philosophy myth, the noble savage myth, the human-caused global warming myth, and the academic STEM culture of sexual harassment myth.

Nir Shaviv: Cosmic rays and climate | Tom Nelson Pod #138
According to PhysicaPlus: “… [Dr. Shaviv’s] research interests cover a wide range of topics in astrophysics. Most are related to the application of fluid dynamics, radiation transfer or high energy physics to a wide range of objects – from stars and compact objects to galaxies and the early universe. His studies on the possible relationships between cosmic rays’ intensity and the Earth’s climate, and the Milky Way’s Spiral Arms and Ice Age Epochs on Earth were widely echoed in the scientific literature, as well as in the general press.”

Kelvin Kemm: South African electricity and climate realism | Tom Nelson Pod #137
Dr Kelvin Kemm is a Business Strategy Consultant and runs his own company, Stratek, based in Pretoria. He is a nuclear physicist and is a past Chairman of the South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (Necsa).
Dr Kemm started work as a research and development scientist but then moved into the management of technology and became involved in a wide variety of projects in many industrial sectors, giving him wide exposure to a technological and industrial base. He developed high technology systems and frequently went out ‘in the field’ to work on developments first hand. These activities took him into many factories, down mines, into power stations, riding in experimental aircraft and vehicles, and into banking, advertising and marketing systems.
Kelvin Kemm is a great believer in sound strategy development, and he points out that this is far more difficult than it appears on the surface. This includes understanding the psychology of the society within which a technology system must function.
Dr Kemm believes that a healthy economy needs a wide appreciation of the role of technology and how it fits into any strategic plan. Technology is not just the nuts and bolts; it is the entire basis on which any company stands. It is the proverbial concrete foundation of any enterprise.
He became interested in the public awareness of technology and has written over 1000 popular interest articles in journals, magazines and newspapers, internationally. He has written two books; a public interest book on South African technology: Techtrack - A Winding Path of South African Development and a coffee table book: At the Forefront of Weather.
He has been a Plenary Guest Speaker at the World Nuclear Association in London, and at the World Nuclear Exhibition in Paris. He Chaired the opening ceremony of ATOMEXPO in Moscow in 2016, and was a guest speaker at the African Union Economic Summit in Mauritius in 2017. He has been a Guest Speaker in places as diverse as Hanoi, Windhoek and Stockholm. He has also been a speaker at tribal events in the bush, in Venda, Sekhukhuneland and southern Angola. In contrast he has given both Senate and Congressional briefings in Washington DC.

Paul Burgess: Climate Realism | Tom Nelson Pod #136
Paul Burgess B.Sc, MS.C, a retired Chartered Water Resources Engineer was in charge of water resource planning for large sections of the UK and sat on national UK committees. Before he retired he represented the whole of the country of Wales where he was responsible for planning water supply, flood protection, reservoirs, hydrological and weather monitoring. He built the first mathematical model of the climate back in 1971. Retiring early from the water industry, Paul set up his own business. In the early 2000’s, Paul became aware of the growing corruption of science by the climate alarmists and then started making videos to counter the alarmism. He now has over 80 videos on the subject. He gives talks all over the UK all at his own expense in order to further the cause he feels so passionate about.
