Greg Schaible is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Owner of On Track Physiotherapy. and Owner of the online educational resource for sports and orthopedic clinician's Sports Rehab Expert.
Dr. Schaible attended The University of Findlay where he earned his Doctorate of Physical.
While attending the University of Findlay, he competed as an athlete in both Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field, where he earned honors as a 5x Division II All-American and a 6x Division II Academic All-American.
In addition to treating client's, Dr. Schaible also provides educational information and online courses to other sports and orthopedic clinician's through the website he owns called Sports Rehab Expert.
As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and a former Collegiate Athlete, Dr. Schaible brings a unique perspective to his treatment approach. This gives him the ability to combine aspects of rehabilitation and training during evaluation, as well as when formulating a treatment plan. When you don't find Greg in the clinic treating patients, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, living an active lifestyle, coaching, and playing sports. He is an avid Lions, Pistons, and most importantly a Michigan Wolverines fan!

Episode 216: Dr. Tommy Wood - Optimizing health and longevity
This episodes guest is Dr. Tommy Wood from Nourish Balance Thrive and Physicians for Ancestral Health.
Tommy Wood is a Senior Fellow in the Pediatrics Department at the University of Washington, and Chief Scientific Officer of Nourish Balance Thrive, an online-based company using advanced biochemical testing to optimize performance in athletes.
Tommy was born in the US to Icelandic and British parents (which means he has three passports in two different names). He was predominantly raised in the UK, but also spent periods of time at school in Iceland, Germany, and France. Tommy received a bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences and Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge before studying medicine at the University of Oxford. He worked as a junior doctor in central London for two years after medical school, and then moved to Norway to complete a PhD in physiology and neuroscience at the University of Oslo.
Tommy is currently President-elect of Physicians for Ancestral Health, he is a director of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine and the Icelandic Health Symposium, and is on the scientific advisory board of Hintsa Performance. Tommy has also coached and competed in multiple sports including rowing, CrossFit, powerlifting, and ultra-endurance racing. Alongside his career in medicine and research, Tommy has published and spoken on multiple topics surrounding functional and ancestral approaches to health, including examining the root causes of multiple sclerosis and insulin resistance.

Unlike most facilities who are staffed by young coaches who rely on their recent playing career and “cool” factor, Slow Guy Speed School is staffed by Chris Korfist, a “sprint guru” with an international following.
With over 55 all-state sprinters and countless other high school all-state athletes, and over 20 years experience, he knows what is appropriate for the athlete in the room and not so concerned about what the pros are doing or someone else journey to where they got.
In fact, the methods have been so effective, Chris has consulted NFL teams, Big 10 Universities, Olympic team and U.S. Special Forces.
JL Holdsworth is a world champion powerlifter, published author and former University of Kentucky strength and conditioning coach. With over 30,000 hours of practical experience and competition best lifts of a 905 lb. squat, 775 lb. bench press, and a 804 lb. deadlift, JL is no doubt one of the strongest and most experienced strength and conditioning coaches in the industry.
JL has been the official speed and performance coach for the Major League Lacrosse, Ohio Machine, for the past 3 seasons. He is a highly sought after speaker and has presented internationally on many topics relating to human performance. He regularly consults with major collegiate, NFL and NHL programs such as The New York Jets, St. Louis Blues, University of Clemson & The Ohio State University.
In 2010 he founded The Spot Athletics and has built that small private training facility into two 20,000sq. ft. locations in the Columbus, OH area. Along with his facilities, JL is the Co-Founder of Reflexive Performance Reset (RPR), an injury prevention and performance system being used by many top sports organizations around the world.
Cal Dietz has been an Olympic Sport Strength and Conditioning coach for numerous sports at the University of Minnesota since 2000. Mladen is a physical preparation coach from Belgrade, Serbia, grew up in Pula, Croatia (which he considers his home town). He was involved in physical preparation of professional, amateur and recreational athletes of various ages in sports, such as basketball, soccer, volleyball, martial arts and tennis.
In his free time he trains Boxing/MMA and lift (sometimes heavy), along with reading about statistics and learning R programming language. Some consider him an Excel wizard. He is also interested in predictive analytics/machine learning.

This episode guest is Maggie Downie from Personal Euphoria
Maggie Downie is a Pilates Instructor and the owner of Personal Euphoria. She has a B.A in history from Eastern Connecticut State
University and has studied Pilates since 2002. She is certified in Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Mat Pilates through STOTT Pilates. Maggie has trained in Pilates for breast cancer rehabilitation and Pilates for pre and post-natal clients, Pilates Equipment as well as injuries and special populations. She has also taken classes and trained under Pilates Elders Mary Bowen, Ron Fletcher, Jay Grimes, and Lolita San Miguel. She thinks it is a privilege to work with different bodies- whether athletes or someone doing post rehab. She has been a guest on NPR and Better CT to share and discuss her knowledge of fitness. Her enthusiastic, upbeat personality is effective in helping students become energized about health and wellness.
