Caller Tony challenges Patrick to explain why Jesus “never spoke about abortion and homosexual activity in the Bible,” claiming that He would have done so if they were really sinful. Patrick explains how Jesus actually *did* teach forcefully on those issues.

In response to Jessica, a Catholic college student attending a protestant college in Chicago, is concerned about the state of faith saying that scripture is the “supreme authority.” Patrick explains how that can be understood in a thoroughly Catholic way so that she can agree to it, and he offers background on the Protestant error of Sola Scriptura and gives practical advice on how to refute it.
