David Sanford is an active-duty service member who has built up a substantial real estate portfolio over recent years. In 2016, David read Rich Dad Poor Dad and decided that real estate would be something he would pursue and purchased his first rental property. Once he acquired his first property, it was game on. Over the next couple years, he would go on to purchase over 75 homes, most of which he kept as long-term rental properties. At first it was a slow start, but once David realized the power of raising private capital, his portfolio expanded rapidly. Today, David holds close to $10M in real estate and flips a few houses a year to cover overhead expenses. Abbas immigrated to the US at the age of 11, and years later, decided to get into Real Estate at the age of 18, paying for his start-up costs on a $5,000 credit card he had at the time.
