How Do We Know When God Answers Our Prayers For Spiritual Growth?

Are My Kids Too Young to Understand the Gospel?

Vine's expository dictionary says that it means "to perceive afterwards", "to have a change of mind." When I studied "repent" and "repentance" in Englishman's concordance, it seems like all the verses refer specifically to the act of salvation, as opposed to a Christian 'repenting' of sin after they're saved. Can you please help me out in understanding the correct idea and meaning of repent and repentance? 6. What is the correct interpretation of the verses John 14:26 and John 16:13? Do they apply to Christians in general or do they only apply to the apostles (and the direct associates of the apostles) in relation to the the inspiration of the New Testament?

I Am Same-Sex Attracted: Is There a Place for Me in the Church?

I think I am prepared and would be okay living alone till death or my heart is changed miraculously. What should I do? 3. How can we be sure that we are not in the group of people in Matt. 7:21-23—how can we be sure of our salvation if those who confess in his name and do miracles in his name won't also be in heaven? 4. I am a new Christian and I haven't found a church home yet. Is it ok to tithe to a parachurch ministry in the meantime while I look for a church? 5. In Proverbs 19:3, it reads: "When a man's folly brings his way to ruin, his heart rages against the Lord." How should we interpret this? I don't think it brings God glory to be angry with him when he lovingly disciplines and chastises us for foolish or sinful choices we've made, but if that's true, then what this verse is saying? How Do I Know Which Parts of the Old Testament Are About Jesus?
