YES, WOMAN (formerly PurposeGirl): Real conversations for women ready for MORE - More aliveness, more purpose, more pleasure, more power to create the life you want.
Carin Rockind: Life Coach, Women's Positive Psychology Expert.
YES, WOMAN is the home for women to be outrageously happy. Where we stop pretending we're fine and start telling the truth about what we desire - and what we deserve.
For the woman who "has it all" on paper, but knows there's more - more joy, more pleasure, more aliveness… for the woman who has lived and loved and lost… for the midlife woman who is done pretending to be "fine" so that you can fly FREE… you're in the right place.
Here we are bold, raw and real about everything WOMAN - s*x, motherhood, menopause, money, grief, success, love, power, pleasure, and becoming.
After more than 700,000 downloads of Season 1, "The PurposeGirl Podcast", and a season of profound personal loss and growth, Carin Rockind returns with deeper truth and sharper clarity. She has a master's degree in the science of happiness and a devotion to the divine feminine, bridging the gap between positive psychology and the soul of a woman — science and spirit — resilience and radiance.
She'll be your best friend, your confidant, your coach. This isn't just about "finding" your purpose anymore. It's about saying yes to your whole life.
Through unfiltered conversations, powerful interviews, and practical tools rooted in both research and lived experience, YES, WOMAN invites you to stop shrinking, stop waiting, and start living as the WOMAN you were born to be.
Welcome Sister.

160 Being Authentic and Proud with Suzanne Falter
Happy Pride Month, PurposeGirls! To all of you who are out, questioning, and/or closeted, I'm proud of you, and I love you! While many queer people wear their identity with pride, many of us also have had challenging or traumatic experiences connected with our queerness. Today's guest on the PurposeGirl Podcast is no stranger to the complicated and the incredibly beautiful sides of being queer. Suzanne Falter is an author and podcaster who helps busy women find happiness through self-care. After losing her 22-year-old daughter, Teal, in 2012, Suzanne's work has evolved to help busy women learn more about self-care– a lesson she learned in her grief. And she helps women all over the world actually find the time for self-care, even when it seems impossible. Talk about a Goddess on Purpose, right? In today's episode, Suzanne and I talk about: Suzanne's personal coming out story, and her mindset around the process of sharing her truth with her family. My bisexuality, and how a painful and abusive experience I had with my first love – a woman – has led me to doing this intimate healing work. Suzanne's writing, examples of her favorite lesbian characters she's dreamed up, and how she finds inspiration from her own life for her writing. The tragic and sudden death of Suzanne's 22-year-old daughter, Teal, and the impact that Teal's passing has had on Suzanne's life – including about the letter Teal wrote her 6 months before she died. How my husband, Josh, helped me to feel safe enough to really explore and accept my sexuality. Suzanne's mission and gift for the world. The message of pride: being who you ARE. About Suzanne Falter: Suzanne Falter is an author and podcaster who helps busy women find happiness through self-care. 159 You Are WORTH It, Goddess
If you always find yourself unworthy, then you will always find something more worthy than you. Read that again, sister. If you always find yourself unworthy, then you will always find someone more worthy of your time, money, energy, focus, etc… than you. And that, sister, won't fly anymore. Not on my watch. So many of my clients come to me with a variety of concerns: there's not enough money, there isn't enough time, that you're a bad mom if you do anything for yourself over doing something for your kids, that your partner wouldn't approve of you going off to do something just for you… and while these are all different outlets, the source of all of them is the same: you feel unworthy. But sister, you are worthy. MORE than worthy! And in this week's solo episode of The PurposeGirl Podcast, I'm talking about many of the times where I listened to what my heart was calling for, even when it didn't make logical sense, and how I ended up with so much more because of it. PLUS! We're talking about Goddess Getaway MIAMI! Today, I'll talk about: How investing $7,500 in a coach a few years ago ended up with me booking 10 new clients. How – most of the time – if you feel like you can't afford something you REALLY want, you cannot afford NOT to do it, and why. Examples of some of my incredible clients just GOING FOR IT and the benefits they've gotten from it! How putting yourself first serves all the people around you: partner, children, coworkers, and friends. More information about Goddess Getaway MIAMI! Hint hint: we're almost sold out! I say in this episode there are 12 spots left and since recording we have even less! Follow Carin on Instagram (http://www.instagram.com/carinrockind) Sign Up for Goddess Getaway MIAMI! 157 Stress and Anxiety Relief from Home with Katy Kern
I have been honest with all of you that pretty much all my life I have suffered from anxiety. And the last few years, between all my miscarriages, running a business, now having a baby… I can frequently feel not only the mental and emotional strains of my anxiety and stress, but also the physical ones. I am seriously SO happy in life, but my body still feels the physical pain of stress. And I, like so many of us, need to learn how to care for our physical bodies and how to destress. In this episode of The PurposeGirl Podcast, I'm fortunate to be joined by soul sister Katy Kern, a wellness practitioner and coach who offers a holistic approach to stress relief. Katy is a recent graduate of my Goddess on Fire Business Mastermind – which is opening for enrollment soon! Be on the lookout! – and I have loved watching her step into her purpose and into her purpose-based business. Katy and I of course talking about stress and long-term healing, but she also walks me through some relief exercises that you can follow along to, too. By bringing multiple tools and resources together, Katy facilitates long-term relief from pain, management of stress, and ultimate well-being. Katy shares with us how attending to a yoga practice some years ago was the starting point of her very own healing journey, through which she has learnt several ways of approaching a balanced well-being of body and mind. Katy and I talk about: How there are many levels of healing and pain relief, and all need to be addressed to really get to a state of relaxation. The science behind the physical response to stress, so you can understand why getting a massage feels good but then days later you're ready for the next one… Actions you can take on a regular basis to help heal your own body, physically and emotionally. How to learn your own body's cues so you can adjust as needed. A walk through of a self-massage and acupressure session that you can do on your own at home. About Katy Kern: Katy is a wellness practitioner and coach, offering a holistic approach to stress relief. By bringing multiple tools and resources together, Katy facilitates your long-term relief from pain, management of stress, and ultimate well-being. www.Facebook.com/groups/219883419458347 www.instagram.com/katy.kern https://www.katykern.com/ Connect with Carin Rockind: Follow Carin on Instagram Join the PurposeGirl's Happiness Network Facebook Group Subscribe to the PurposeGirl Newsletter Check out The PurposeGirl Website Buy Carin's Book - Wonderful You! 156 Mother's Day, Infertility and Using an Egg Donor
One in eight couples – or 7.3 million women in America alone – go through infertility. I am 1 in 8. But there's an aspect to my journey to motherhood that I've never shared, and in this episode, I share the full truth to help other women and couples get pregnant: We used an Egg Donor. I felt so much shame around this, as many women do with egg and embryo donation. But now I'm proud of it, so in this episode, I share my journey - the whole thing... the shame, the fear, the decisions, the pain of Mother's Day when trying to conceive, and more. I share to help women going through this - and to help you create ANY dream in your heart. Even if you're not on a fertility journey, even if you never want kids, you want to hear this episode because it will touch your heart and inspire you like no other. I bawl, I laugh, I bear my soul. Recording this wasn't easy and I wasn't sure I could share it all. But my purpose in life is to inspire women, and when I reminded myself of that, I knew I needed to share ALL of it. This is the Mother's Day podcast episode everyone needs - the love story of how a little boy and I came to be connected forever. So, grab some tissues and settle in to listen to the most intimate and vulnerable episode I've ever made for you. Because I love you. 155 Healing Sisterhood Wounds: Lifting Each Other Up with Molly Galbraith
"Girls can be really, really mean." How many times have you thought, felt, or said that? So many women I work with – me included – have deeply seeded sisterhood wounds. So many women I connect with share that they were isolated, rejected, teased, and even bullied by the girls we thought were our friends when we were younger. It's painful, embarrassing, and has long lasting impacts. It's one of them many reasons why the work we do here at PurposeGirl is so important: to heal the wounds of sisterhood and learn how to lift other women up from a place of authenticity and joy. Because sister, there's enough of everything – clients, money, time, joy, leadership, opportunity, connection, and more – for ALL of us. Your success is not at the deficit or loss of another woman, it is to HER benefit, too! Just like her success is yours. So sisters, in this episode of The PurposeGirl Podcast, I'm fortunate to be joined by Molly Galbraith, cofounder of Girls Gone Strong (GGS), the world's largest platform providing evidence-based, interdisciplinary health, fitness, nutrition, and pregnancy education for women and the health and fitness professionals who work with them. In this episode, Molly and I dig into: How we all have likely been on the receiving and giving side of a Sisterhood wound, and how that can be reversed in adulthood. The fact that much of our society creates a false sense of scarcity for leadership and "success", which leads to the development of a false hierarchy amongst women, that ultimately creates a system of competition. Tools you can use to turn your jealousy and comparison into inspiration and opportunity. Some details about Molly's brand new book! You can follow Molly on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/mollymgalbraith/) and Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/themollygalbraith/). Today I took a pause to appreciate and feel grateful for my life. I still find myself in such wonder as I watch my 9-month-old son, Shay, view the world with such curiosity and excitement. The anxiety and stress may be overwhelming. But, sister, I got you.
