E #126: the importance of respecting the journey

Today's episode is a major insight into a coaching conversation Kehla had with a client about respecting the journey towards our goals/desires/wanted outcomes in life - rather than just expressing appreciation for the end result. Typically as a human being we get caught up in the end destiny to the point we get frustrated with the process - here's the reality check: the process is the unfolding of the end destination. That specific amount of money you're making, those number of pounds you've lost, all of dates you've been on to find your soulmate - they're all part of the end result. When we discredit or disrespect the journey, we are not in alignment or in gratitude with what we want. Tune into this episode if you're ready to let go of any frustration you have with the effort you're making to get what it is that you want - this is a good one!   Check out Kehla's website Follow Kehla on IG Thank you for taking a moment to listen, rate & share this podcast!

E #124: it’s time to feel your feelings

In today's episode Kehla talks about the stigma & societal expectations around 'feeling feelings' as a human being. From 'silent is strong' to 'big girls don't cry', we're conditioned from a young age on how we should express ourselves or feel emotions. In this conversation Kehla lifts the veil on how we are oppressed as human beings on our self-expression & lack of support when it comes to releasing emotions from ourselves - whether that's sadness or happiness, there always seems to be the 'right way' to show up in the world.  Tune in if you want some clarity around the power of giving yourself the space to feel all the feels. It's time to break the paradigms of what it means to be a human with emotions.    Check out Kehla's website Follow Kehla on IG Thank you for taking a moment to listen, rate & share this podcast!

E #120: escaping the cycle of working hard to avoid failure

A few weeks ago, after experiencing another typical burnout, Kehla noticed an inauthentic pattern in her life in regards to working hard to avoid failure. In this episode Kehla shares her experience of being an athlete & how past programming (that has now crept into the future) is what taught her that 'there's always the next thing to achieve & if I'm not achieving the next thing, then I am stagnant & stagnant means failure'. Kehla shares vulnerably where in life she's overworked to compensate for the fear of failure and for the feelings of not being good enough. Through this realization Kehla also sheds light on the power of awareness & breaking down the stories that get programmed into our minds about what fear is and what failure actually means. Tune in if you want some real perspective on how to shift these patterns of behaviour & start living life authentically from abundance.   Check out Kehla's website Follow Kehla on IG Thank you for taking a moment to listen, rate & share this podcast!

E #119: confidence hypnosis

This episode is part of the hypnosis series that Kehla has introduced onto her podcast So what is hypnosis? Hypnosis brings the body & mind into a deep state of relaxation. This deep state of relaxation leaves the subconscious mind more open to suggestibility -- this is a place of opportunity where we can re-wire our thought patterns to align with our highest intentions & desires in life. In this recording Kehla will essentially be guiding you into a deep state of relaxation through visualization. Kehla will then speak to your subconscious mind to shift its focus on generating confidence from within so that it becomes easy to feel confident no matter what you're doing or looking to achieve in your life. You will be left empowered to let go of old limiting beliefs that have been hardwired into your mind unconsciously. Meditation & hypnosis are similar in the sense that they're both guided forms of relaxation, however hypnosis uses the language of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) for suggestions to shift your subconscious mind & it's current deep rooted beliefs into new empowering beliefs. Enjoy!   Check out Kehla's website Follow Kehla on IG Thank you for taking a moment to listen, rate & share this podcast!

E #118: why gaining strength in life is not easy

In this episode Kehla breaks down the reality of why gaining strength in life is not easy. Working out at the gym, like enduring hards times in life, are meant to prepare us for what's to come. What makes us stronger in life is going through challenges and experiencing hardship. Though 'strength' is sought after (emotional/physical/mental resilience), the experience of becoming stronger truly does come from very concentrated, specific events in our life that are uncomfortable so that they push us to grow. We cannot know what strength is without weakness. Looking at & being compassionate about where we've come from & what we've endured is truly the access to experiencing the strength that we've created for ourselves. We each have our own unique imprint of strength that we've cultivated & it deserves to be acknowledged.  Check out Kehla's website Follow Kehla on IG Thank you for taking a moment to listen, rate & share this podcast!
