Riff Raff Podcast: [EP.59] We Must Grind. We Will Grind.

*Pop*  Oh yeah, welcome back to another thrilling episode of THE Riff Raff podcast, I’m Een Zaamheid, joined of course by THE Hans, or as we like to call him Johann, and fellow grindcore afficionado and bandcamp headliner Theophrastus Bombastus. The gruesome twosome return, with returning guest and possessor of an IGoM-certified golden voice: TheoBomb. We’re all completely degenerate grindcore dorks far beyond all hope, so we’re just giving in and gushing on our favorite genre. Even though the songs are shorter we still sling enough pure grindcore nerd-shit in between them to fill an hour. We pick apart grindcore lyrics like they’re poetry and try our best worst to fulfill one soon-to-be-regretful listener’s request for more puns.  We go through some heady discussion of Cephalic Carnage, get perfected by Japanische Kampfhörspiele, and disappear in the foggy, nebulous lyrics of Cloud Rat (since reported on elsewhere).  The lyrical analysis is erudite and maybe a bit too artsy-fartsy for the teeth-meet-fist grindcore crowd. The puns, however… are the kind that scar your soul. LET’S GRIND. New Music Features This Week Hans’s Picks Abanglupa – Forced Dementia Japanische Kampfhörspiele – Wir werden Gott Eenzy’s Picks Cephalic Carnage – Divination and Volition Fluoride – Suffocate Theo’s Bomb-ass Picks Cloud Rat – Refraction Bandit – Czestawova

Riff Raff Podcast: [EP.58] Riff Rasslin’

The rope-a-dope rabble-rousers return! A Spooky Mansion is back, and she’s got Hans and Eenzy in a headlock until they both cry uncle. Spooky’s back! And instead of robbing a smart shop while stoned, she’s got us ratcheted up to 11 with some good ol’ fashioned rasslin’. This is a topic I admittedly know admittedly next-to-nothing about, so you can be sure Spooky carries (or just outright steals) the show again from your two hackneyed hosts. Hans puts up a good fight; Eenzy was down for the count before a bell even rang (is that a thing in wrestling?).  This week they’re picking wrestling walk-out music and coming up with a person for each song they picked. That’s 6 wrestlers and 6 barnburners headed straight your way, motherflushers! At Spooky’s special request, we also wanted to shout out Scott Hall, the Vice City of wrestlers, who just passed away.  May you slick your hair back with soda in the great beyond. New Music Features This Week Spooky’s Picks Diamond Chazer – Zero To Hero Ekulu – Unscrew My Head Hans’s Picks Alabama Thunderpussy – The Cleansing Limp Bizkit – Head for the Barricade Eeenzy’s Picks Modern Life is War – Martin Atchet Orchid – Weekend at the Fire Academy Intro Track Horsebastard – Fear of Circles

Riff Raff Podcast: [EP.57] A Feudal Enterprise

The Shitpost Saints are back to ride or die with IGOM, and the boiz have got enough beef to make Biggie and Tupac look like Laverne and Shirley. We get it. When a newcomer is on the rise, getting ready to topple the current kings, they’re bound to step on some toes. And the rags-to-riffraff boiz Hans and Eenzy are no exception. But after leaving their standard upper-decker for the Toilet Radioheads listening to that other podcast, they decide to put the feud on ice and bring on the Iron Goddess of Mercy, token redneck and thus expert in feudin’. At various point in the episode even, he feuds with both your hateful hosts over minutiae like a song Hans doesn’t care for (shocker), the rival universities he and Eenzy attended, and how good teenage Eenzy’s taste in music was (kvlt as fvck, as you would assume). Each of them is repping a label they chose two songs from, and it’s a no-holds-barred battle to the (willow-)tip of the mountain. Who won? Who cares, all people really wanna know is if IGOM throws shade at his main hater Theo. Will their feud end with firebombs or thanks to Louis Farrakhan? Guess you’ll have to sit through six bangers to find out. New Music Features This Week IGOM’s Picks (Tridroid) Keeper – Trial & Error Underdark – Our Bodies Burned Bright on Re-Entry Eenzy’s Picks (Willowtip) Slugdge – Slave Goo World Capharnaum – Fractured Hans’s Picks (Zeitgeister) Vasari – Maelstrom Absolutum – II Secret Bonus Traxx Intro (grindcore nerds only): Manhunt – Conceited Anaal Nathrakh – Tod Huetet Uebel

In price-gouging form! / Necromancing Elvis / Telegram channels indicate that Militant Zone guys are getting blown up to death / More like Season of Piss / J-DAWG from Hell’s Headbangers ponders, “What is racism? What does the word even mean?” / Get stoked for the David Vincent book episode coming soon / Double-band-four-sided-metal-tee / Geopolitical events as explained by very old bumper stickers. It’s an episode, folks. Music featured on this ‘sode: Effluence – Devouring Gray Matter (Head’s up, this track is brutal with like seven 0’s.) Riff Raff Podcast: [EP.56] Toillettes à Trois

The Anarchists of Amour are back with 360-degree-lookout Roldy peeping hard as they all exchange some post-coital bangers. Sometimes you fly a bit too close to the Sun; you go from excitedly poking the bear to pants-shittingly running away because you woke it up. We informed our mortal enemies at Toilet Radio (TM) about the immortal rivalry between Toilets and the Riff Raff in the sewers beneath. We were floating, and our asses got flushed. It took a minute for us to lick our wounds, call our moms, and say a bunch of motivational nonsense in the mirror, but we’re back. It’s a bit belated, we know, but we really love you baby—please give us a second chance, cause this episode is a straight up St Valentine’s day massacre. Joined once again by their favorite owl who likes to watch, Roldy, Hansel and Eenzel all decide to celebrate their toillettes à trois by each picking a song for each other (that’s a K3 complete digraph worth of songs for you nerds out there… or 6 for you normies).  It’s so sweet you might just puke—we hope Toilet Radio does. And forgets to flush. Gottem. New Music Features This Week Han’s Picks For Eenzel: Sweat – Machismo (not even out yet, awwww) For Rold: Bokor – The Viral Prophesies Eenzy’s Picks For Rold: Kalmah – Heroes to Us For Hansel: The Secret – Weathermen Roldy’s Picks For Heidy: Cormorant – Sky Burial For Hanschoffel: Foreseen – Fearmonger
