Childhood was anything but peaceful growing up as a “Rama kid” in this insular Shawano, Wisconsin Cult. Claiming to have seen God and speak for Him, the leader seemed to enjoy torturing his members (especially the youth) and keeping them under strict control. Shifrah grew up in the horrific Shawano, Wisconsin cult often called SIST. She frequently witnessed people being beat*n or shocked with cattle prods. Some people joined to fulfill their own sadistic fantasies, while others were too indoctrinated or programmed to realize the CA was wrong and unacceptable.
