Based on her own 2018 short film of the same name, Emma Seligman's "Shiva Baby" premiered at last year's SXSW Film Festival and then came to this year's TIFF, where it drew a tremendous word of mouth for its hilarious dark humor, escalating tension and terrific ensemble.
