#20- My Pride Story
Happy pride month everyone! This week, I decided to share something that not many people know about me. With all the positive posts that I have seen this month, I wanted to tell my story in the hopes that it can help at least one other person. While this is a very personal and vulnerable topic for not only me, but my family and friends as well, I am so happy to be releasing this episode. I share my pride story, the confusion and impacts that came with it, and most importantly, how internal fears about what others are going to think and say restrict us from living our most authentic lives. This experience has taught me so much about myself, other people, and the world that I am finally ready to fully accept myself as I am and identify myself as an ally within the LGBTQ+ community. I hope you can take some important things away from my story! (I'm so scared ahhh). Please be sure to subscribe, rate, and review the show! Stay well xoxo
