#16- Second Chances (with Menley Langham)

This week, we are joined by mental health advocate, Menley Langham! Menley shares her story with mental illness and explains how she got to where she is today. After going through many years of suffering on her own and being undiagnosed, she reached the lowest point in her life which ended up in hospitalization. This allowed her and her family to acknowledge the presence and severity of what were actually mental illnesses. After several ups and downs, Menley finally decided to put her well-being before her academics and athletics which ultimately resulted in positive changes. Now, she uses her voice and her story to inspire others and to help promote mental health awareness and education.
