Vorsitzende Richterin am Oberlandesgericht Nürnberg und Leiterin der Abteilung für das Rechtsreferendariat und Staatsexamen. Sie forscht und publiziert seit über 20 Jahren in der Rechtsinformatik, insbesondere auch im Bereich Legal Tech. Wolff ist Professor für Medieninformatik und Dekan der Fakultät für Informatik und Data Science an der Universität Regensburg. Five years after coming into force, GDPR is planned to be "fixed" by the European Commission before summer 2023 (see https://www.politico.eu/article/brussels-plans-new-privacy-enforcement-law-by-summer/ for further details). Different from one might expect, the initiative doesn't question any GDPR fundamentals, but rather seems to have a rather limited scope: It will deal with discrepancies in enforcement by different European Data Protection authorities.only (see https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/better-regulation/have-your-say/initiatives/13745-Further-specifying-procedural-rules-relating-to-the-enforcement-of-the-General-Data-Protection-Regulation_en).  The picture whether GDPR is working might look very different from the outside, where some of GDPR's "eternal" fundamentals such as the concept of informed consent or of sensitive data are discussed. We talk with  Daniel Daniel J. Solove. He is Eugene L. and Barbara A. Bernard Professor of Intellectual Property and Technology Law at the George Washington University Law School and founder of TeachPrivacy, a company that provides privacy and data security training programs to businesses, schools, healthcare institutions, and other organizations. The activity of collecting art, coins, stamps and other physical objects is changinging in a digital environment. Many consider NFTs as an interesting replacement triggering many interesting technical, legal and economical opportunities and challenges. The Austrian Postal Service "Österreichische Post AG" has been actively inventing crypto-stamps as artistic expressions and goods worth to be collected and is further evaluation business opportunities in the domain. In this special edition artist and leading IP-lawyer Guido Kucsko, Product Manager Blockchain at Post AG Nicolas Collet and Nikolaus Forgó will discuss, project development opportunities related to NFT-developments in philately. On February 21 2023 the US Supreme Court will hold oral hearings in two cases that might fundamentally change internet governance in the US and worldwide: Gonzalez v. Google LLC and Twitter, Inc. v. Taamneh challenge the principle that platforms are not liable for users' content provided they have no actual knowledge of it. The Cases might lead to a fundamental reinterpretation of Section 230 of Title 47 of United States Code which currently reads as follows: ""No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider." (47 U.S.C. § 230(c)(1)).   We speak with Katerina Polychronopoulos.
