Virgil was a trailblazer in many ways and redefined what it meant to be a modern fashion designer. Plus, Weekend Sunrise host Matt Doran, infamously known as the journalist who had his interview with Adele pulled after failing to listen to her new album, has issued a lengthy televised explanation of what really happened during the unseen interview and he’s telling a different story to what was reported. And Lindsay Lohan has announced she is engaged to her longtime boyfriend Bader Shammas. The news comes after her team launched a strategic plan to positively revamp her image as she takes on her first movie role in many years. Everything we know so far points to a redemption arc, but the real story behind Lindsay Lohan’s career is a lot more complicated. On the show today… The ARIA Awards took place at Taronga Zoo in Sydney last night and we need to talk about the winners list because it was packed with a whole lot of diverse artists who deserve to be celebrated. Channel Nine have axed a 2022 Married At First Sight contestant following concern over his previous online behaviour. The groom in question had posted incredibly problematic content across his social media accounts and a number of women in Australian media, including Angie Kent, called out the problem with TV shows including behaviour like this. Plus, ever since her 13-year conservatorship officially came to an end it’s pretty clear that Britney Spears has full control of her social media back and this weekend she posted a video to her Instagram account calling out fellow musician Christina Aguilera. But when you actually understand the context behind the video, it’s not just another case of Britney being pitted against Christina. And it’s the interview everyone in Australia is talking about right now, even though it never went to air. It’s been revealed that Channel Seven’s Weekend Sunrise host Matt Doran flew with a crew to London for an exclusive interview with Adele. But the interview has been pulled after Adele discovered Doran had not listened to her new album. Doran has since apologised for the mistake, asked for the interview to be aired, and said he missed the email that contained the link to the album.
