On the show today… Celeste Barber is returning to her acting roots by starring in Wellmania, a new comedic drama series which has received an eight-episode order by Netflix in Australia. The series is inspired by Brigid Delaney’s novel Wellmania: Misadventures in the Search for Wellness and is co-created by Brigid and Benjamin Law. And Bella Hadid has explained why she’s returning to Victoria’s Secret, despite her own negative experiences modeling for the company and the fact that they’ve been called out for a lack of inclusivity. But is her reasoning enough to reinvigorate the brand’s image? Plus, this week Kanye West made a bold romantic gesture to his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, in what looked like a rom-com inspired move to win her back. It did not go well. The next day Kim’s legal team set out to make her officially single again and now we have to talk about other Hollywood stars who (unfortunately) went down this same path. On the show today… The first trailer for the upcoming Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts special has been released and, damn it to hell, it actually looks pretty magical. A few famous faces from the franchise appeared in the trailer with a hint that there’s more to come. And this week the world was gifted with a sight we definitely didn’t ask for but were still kind of into…and that was Pete Davidson and Machine Gun Kelly stripping off on Instagram Live. There’s a lot to unpack here, but lets start with the most sexually confusing moment. Plus, in the lead up to the Sex and the City revival, it seems the world just can’t let go of that feud between Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall. This week Mr Big himself, Chris Noth, weighed in on the issue and said Sarah Jessica in particular is a target. It’s very telling that at a time when redemption arcs for celebrity ‘bad girls’ are in high demand, the world is equally as hungry for nice girl takedowns. Plus, following the Astroworld tragedy in November, it was reported that W Magazine was frantically trying to stop their new issue from getting out into the world because it contained a very lux and loved-up cover shoot with Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott. And Alec Baldwin has given his first long-form interview following the tragic shooting incident that took place on his film Rust, which resulted in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and wounded director Joel Souza. In the interview, Alec recalls the events of that day, including some chilling revelations of what led up to the shooting, along with calling out his fellow Hollywood stars for their behaviour.
