Journalist Eleanor Mills was the Editorial Director of The Sunday Times and editor of The Sunday Times magazine until March 2020. She was the youngest ever features editor at the Daily Telegraph, aged just 26 and then joined the Sunday Times in 1998 where she was a columnist and interviewer, interrogating everyone from Mikhail Gorbachev to Sheryl Sandberg and Theresa May. She left The Sunday Times in 2020 and on 8 March 2021, International Women's Day, Mills launched Noon, an online media platform and community for women in midlife. Ep. 220 - David Gower

David Gower OBE was one of the greatest batsmen of all time. Between 1975 and and 1993 David scored 26,339 runs in first class cricket for England, Leicestershire and Hampshire. He hit 53 centuries and captained England to victory in the 1985 Ashes series. He holds the record of 119 consecutive innings without registering a duck (scoring zero runs) in Test cricket. Following his retirement from cricket he became a very successful and much loved commentator for BC, Sky Sports and BT Sport. He was a team captain on the comedy panel show They Think It's All Over from 95-03 alongside Gary Lineker. In 2009 he was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame and on the occasion of England's 1000th Test in August 2018, he was named in the country's greatest Test XI by the ECB. Olaf Falafel is a comedian, children’s author and illustrator who most recently had 2 jokes in Dave's top 10 funniest jokes of the Fringe festival 2022. Jack Docherty is an actor, writer and chat show host probably best known for the comedy show Absolutely that he co-wrote and starred in and it’s spin off sitcom, Mr Don and Mr George which he starred in alongside his Absolutely colleague and friend, Moray Hunter. He played Ben Gary in the advertising sitcom, The Creatives, was in the sci-fi series The Strangerers on Sky and he appeared regularly in BBC3’s Badults.
