Nikki McClure says sporting organisations and good governance do fit together
Today on the Take on Board podcast, I’m speaking with Nikki McClure about board culture and how education is key in sporting organisationsThe 99th A.G.M. of Kingston Heath was held on Saturday 21 May 2022 and Nikki McClure was elected as President of the Club, the first woman to fill this role. Only a week earlier she had concluded her term as Women’s Captain, during which time she was instrumental in establishing the highly successful Women’s Gateway Program.Aside from her involvement at Kingston Heath, in 2017 Nikki formed the online forum, “Fairway Birdies”, providing women a pathway into Victoria’s golfing community. In addition, in May 2020 she was appointed as a Director of Golf Victoria.
