This Nurse is Managing Student Loan Payments In Times Of Uncertainty - Ep. 45
Send us Fan MailThese are unprecedented times, especially for all of us that work in health care. There is so much that is out off our control. The one thing that we do have control over is how we manage our student loan debt. I’ve brought in a student loan expert with the tools to empower you to navigate the student loan system so that it is working for you and not holding you down. Brenton Harrison is a financial influencer and speaker who has spent over a decade teaching financial literacy and empowering people with tools to take control of their money. He is the CEO and Founder of UltraBorrowers Academy, a course for high-income earners whose lives have been impacted by a high student loan burden. He teaches strategies for overcoming the burden of debt, juggling family and money, and establishing a financial foothold for those who were never taught the principles of financial literacy. His work has been featured in publications such as Business Insider, Life Happens, Benefits Magazine, and AdvisorToday.*** Update 5/14/20. Since this episode was recorded, the IRS has actually clarified that the stimulus check will NOT have to be repaid. The confusion was that in the language of the bill, the stimulus check is referred to as an advance of a tax refund. But they’ve since stated that it will not have to be repaid, nor will they allow it to lower the income you were already due to receive.***Please join me here, and follow me on social media, Instagram and Facebook. This Nurse is Reporting From the Front Lines - Ep. 42
Send us Fan Mail2020 has been a year we will never forget as all our lives have drastically changed in hopes to curb the spread of this highly infectious virus. Nurses have been exceptionally impacted. Some of us are working directly on the front lines working with those affected. Some of us have experienced job loss or furlough due to clinic closures, cancellation of elective procedures and decreased hospital admissions. None of us expected this and many of us have never experienced anything like this in our lifetimes. Though there are many new challenges, I am choosing to look at the opportunities to learn and grow from this. Most importantly I want to send out my thanks and love and I am joined by other phenomenal folks doing the same for all you nurses out there. Please join me here, and follow me on social media, Instagram and Facebook.
