Parliamo della terza edizione italiana del Messale Romano di Paolo VI. Sì, perché c’è anche il Messale Romano più antico di San Pio V che non è stato mai abolito. Ma questo è un tabù! Dai vari cambiamenti introdotti nei testi eucologici si evince una mentalità teologica e una scelta interpretativa di parte, che non sempre collimano con la fede della Chiesa nella sua interezza. La Sacrosanctum Concilium, da cui scaturisce il nuovo messale, viene letta con un approccio restrittivo di Papa Francesco, secondo il quale la riforma liturgica scaturita dall’ultimo Concilio è irreversibile. Si guarda solo avanti ma con la retromarcia innestata. Non è in discussione la validità della S. What happened to Purgatory? This necessary after-life purification, that souls undergo when not able during life to expiate all temporal pain caused by their sins, seems today almost forgotten. Priests are more inclined to make a dying person already a saint because of the last rites received, or even to "canonize" the dead person during the Requiem Mass, (wrongly) assuming that he/she is already in the glory of God. Catechesi a cura di P. Serafino M. Lanzetta. Ritorniamo sul tema del Papa in relazione alla Chiesa, con altre domande... C'è un munus spirituale e uno di governo? Benedetto XVI è il vero papa? Cosa succederebbe se Benedetto XVI venisse a mancare? Per di più (riprendo quanto dicevo nella scorsa catechesi): se Francesco fosse stato in continuità perfetta con Benedetto XVI e con gli altri suoi predecessori, si sarebbe sollevata la questione della validità della sua elezione? La petizione per una nuova definizione dogmatica in ambito mariano fu avviata nel 1915 dal Cardinale belga Mercier. Questi chiedeva che venisse definita Maria quale "Mediatrice universale". Nel 1921, la S. Sede concesse la festa liturgica di Maria "Mediatrice di tutte le grazie". La supplica per un nuovo dogma mariano si è rafforzata in seguito alle apparizioni mariane di Amsterdam (1945-1959), in cui si chiede di definire Maria come "Corredentrice, Mediatrice e Avvocata". Un nuovo dogma mariano è possibile perché la dottrina definibile appartiene alla Rivelazione di Dio. La Chiesa crede, e il Magistero lo ho reiterato a più riprese, che Maria ha cooperato in modo singolare alla nostra Redenzione, che è Mediatrice di tutte le grazie e la nostra Avvocata, cioè Colei che con la sua preghiera intercede a nostro favore. Un nuovo dogma mariano sarebbe oltretutto convenientissimo: restituirebbe alla Chiesa il suo carisma più proprio di insegnare infallibilmente la fede e potrebbe segnare così l'inizio del trionfo del Cuore Immacolato, riversando su tutti i fedeli un torrente di grazia. Maria è veramente "Corredentrice" perché è veramente nostra Madre. Il fatto che il Concilio Vaticano II non abbia utilizzato il termine per motivi ecumenici non significa che questa verità sia stata di colpo abolita dal patrimonio della fede della Chiesa. Oltretutto, l'ultimo Concilio vi fa riferimento anche senza utilizzare la parola (cf. ad es. LG 58). "Corredentrice" significa che Maria ha collaborato attivamente con Cristo alla nostra rigenerazione soprannaturale. Se la sua maternità spirituale non fosse corredentiva, cioè generativa della grazia della salvezza nel suo dolore di Madre, come di una partoriente durante il travaglio del parto, non sarebbe reale ma solo simbolica. Intimistica. Di più, se Maria non è Corredentrice non è neppure discepola. Seguire Cristo fedelmente implica un assenso, una collaborazione con la grazia, una cooperazione. La Vergine Maria è discepola in modo unico perché ha collaborato con Cristo in modo singolare non alla sua ma alla nostra salvezza. Virgo Co-redemptrix ora pro nobis! Hosted on Acast. Parliamo del ministero petrino del Romano Pontefice, così come Cristo lo ha istituito e così come la Chiesa lo ha definito. Con qualche applicazione contemporanea, per dare una risposta a un vespaio di idee a tal proposito. Il fatto che un papa insegni delle dottrine erronee sarebbe automaticamente segno dell'invalidità della sua elezione. Se Francesco fosse stato in continuità perfetta con Benedetto XVI e con gli altri suoi predecessori, si sarebbe sollevata la questione della validità della sua elezione? Sicuramente no. Non è una semplice formalità il modo con cui riceviamo la S. Comunione. Esso esprime la nostra fede nel SS. Corpo e Sangue di Nostro Signore. Questa è la ragione per la quale la S. Chiesa, nella sua sapienza, ci ha comandato di ricevere la S. Comunione in bocca e in ginocchio: si tratta della la legge universale della Chiesa. It is not a mere formality the way we receive Holy Communion. It expresses our faith in the Most Holy Body and Blood our Our Lord. This is the reason why Mother Church in Her wisdom has commanded us - it is universal law - to receive Holy Communion directly on the tongue while kneeling. A catechesis by Fr Serafino M. Lanzetta on the Paschal Mystery - Passion, Death and Resurrection of Our Lord as one single mystery. The Cross without the Resurrection would be a sacrifice that ends with the death of Jesus - a failure of His prophecies and of His mystery as the Son of God. On the contrary, the Resurrection without the Cross would be a glory without suffering, a reward with no sacrifice, something only human.However, the current danger is to take only the Resurrection without the Cross, with all harmful consequences that it may bring about. For example, a split between a pre-Conciliar and post-Conciliar Church. The first would be the one attached to the Cross, to penance and to the rigor of doctrine. The second would instead be born of the Resurrection, of the Pentecost, the one that easily puts aside the Cross and happily moves on singing the Alleluia!Holy Communion is therefore given only to people who rigidly stand and receive it in their hand. In this logic, if one is risen doesn't kneel anymore. He only stands, without embracing the suffering of the Cross. In this podcast Fr Serafino M. Lanzetta reflects on the Marian title "Mary Mother of the Church." In order to know why Mary is the Mother of the Church we should consider first what the Church is - the mystical Body of Christ, made by all members reborn on Calvary in the Blood of Christ. Since Our Lady participated uniquely in the work of our Redemption as the new Eve, She is in a singular way the Mother generating in Her sorrows and tears each disciple of Christ. Mother of the Church because mother generating Christians to supernatural life.
