S1E061: Results Bring Stability

Kevin and Olivia are career coaches that have a passion to help high achievers land six-figure jobs they love. When they first came to COD they were ALREADY making some decent money but felt stretched in, moving away from their vision and not satisfied with how they or their clients were showing up. They joined us, blasted through their limitations, and dove in head first to change from one-on-one to group coaching and smaller purchases to premium pricing. Their results are a testament to what happens when you are clear on your outcome and apply our principles. Now, Kevin and Olivia can go to bat for their own dedicated and motivated clients to get them the outcomes they desire. In this episode we talk about: Kevin and Olivia had large opt-in numbers and email list, but they were still capping out at about $25k per month. For the work that went in to get this result, they both felt stretched thin and moving away from their vision. Kevin had an epiphany that they needed a higher engagement with, and deeper commitment to, their clients. At a lower price point, they were getting more wishy-washy clients with a higher refund request rate. They decided they had to move from one-on-one coaching to a group model and shut down their lower prices to a new business model featuring premium prices. What blew their mind is that everyone involved they got even better and deeper results. They are now not having to rely just on leads to come from their email list. A huge portion of their enrollments are people who have never heard of them before they see the Facebook ad and watch the webinar. The executives that they work with are hooked on working on their own internal beliefs and mindset! Mentioned in This Episode: Clients on Demand Russ Ruffino

S1E060: It's Not About a Script!

Warning — today may forever change the way you think about sales and sales scripts — you may never be able to go back! Marc and I pull back the curtain on what REALLY counts when talking with a potential client on the phone to get the impact, influence and enrollment that serves everyone to the highest level. We uncover what clients actually need, why your intent to serve the client to the truth is EVERYTHING, and how you can set yourself apart from the rest of the pack who are still administering outdated methods of persuasion and brute force. In this episode we talk about: The call structure you use is very important, but only a small percentage of your success. Your mindset, intent and ability to let in the right clients, and your beliefs around enrolling are much more important factors. The paradigm of sales is changing rapidly and only 3% of buyers trust a salesperson. The number one thing that buyers want is a salesperson to listen to their needs and present a solution without being pushy. People just want to feel heard. Even though we would love to help everyone, if we can't serve them we don't even make an offer. The industry norm for online phone sales is 6-8% with a cancellation rate of 30-40% percent. We also don't do a ton of follow ups and make almost all of our enrollments on the very first call. The advent of social media gives consumers a voice and channel to damage your reputation if you are using outdated sales tactics. Our methods don't require 100 calls a day or week for a 1% success rate. It is based on an authentic and transparent conversation followed by an offer if it feels right for both parties. Our job is to serve our clients to the truth of their situation without an agenda. Even if they are not a fit for our program, it's our INTENT to send people along with clarity and resources to further support the next steps to their dream. S1E059: Entrepreneurial ADD - Amateurs vs. Pros

If left untreated, ENTREPRENEURIAL ADD will absolutely DESTROY you and everyone in your life. And that is NOT an exaggeration. In today's episode Marc, Jayne, and I talk about exactly what entrepreneurial ADD is, and what you can do to make sure it doesn't prevent you from ever launching your business in the first place, or sabotage what you have built. Here at COD we see it happen way too often and want to help you accelerate your progress and avoid the common pitfalls we see people fall into. In this episode we talk about: When you don't have a clear idea or vision of what success looks like or how to measure it, you can't come up with a plan of how you are going to get there. How common it is to quit midway through due to fear, boredom, and self-sabotage. How there is infinite value in working with a mentor and coach that can tell you what to do, what to avoid and how to measure your success. When you get totally clear on what winning looks like to you in the areas of income, freedom, lifestyle and contribution, you will be less likely to self-sabotage or lose sight of your vision. Listen now and you'll get an inside look into what it really takes to run a high-ticket coaching business. You'll also see just how rewarding and profitable it can be when you focus on the numbers that matter most to your clients' results. Mentioned in This Episode: Clients on Demand Russ Ruffino

S1E057: What Makes a High-Ticket Offer?

Together, we'll pull back the curtain on high-ticket offers and reveal what exactly they are, why it's so important to have one, and how you could get started TODAY with a system that provides you the flexibility and freedom to work with clients ready to get results. We will bust some myths about the standard practice of multiple funnels, testimonials and upselling, and show you the ONE thing you need to focus on, instead. Plus, we'll share with you the wonderful benefits that come along with being laser-focused on one amazing high-ticket offer and commanding a premium price. In this episode we talk about: According to our definition, a high-ticket offer is a front-end offer that you are selling between $3K and $10K (and above). When we first entered the coaching space, many of us were taught the methods of building complicated funnels and value ladders, where people purchase smaller-ticket offers first and their small investments lead up to a higher-ticket offer. When you start commanding premium prices, your clients show up much more committed and ready to do the work. You can provide a higher level of service without multiplying your workload and being spread too thin. It's NOT about testimonials, case studies, and celebrity status. It's great if you have all that, but we have helped many people succeed with high-ticket offers with little to no testimonials who were not famous in their field. You don't need a complex funnel, upsells, downsells, and cross-sells. Your customer journey can be ONE purchase to a high-ticket system that comes from a simple funnel as a Facebook ad, webinar, and phone call. The real reason to cut through the fear and take actual action it because people NEED YOU and your gifts. If you are going to create a high ticket offer, that program MUST create great results for your clients. Mentioned in This Episode: Clients on Demand Russ Ruffino

S1E056: Does Group Coaching Get Results? One-On-One Vs. Group Coaching

The pros and cons of group coaching vs. one-on-one coaching, and what that choice means for your business, income, and client results. Jayne has seen it all, and from her thousands of hours of coaching she has been on both sides of the fence. She helps break it down on why the results of working within a group dynamic we get are light years beyond what we achieved when working with clients one on one. In this episode, we share what REALLY works to create transformation in clients and why groups sometimes create even FASTER and BIGGER BREAKTHROUGHS than one-on-one coaching ever could. We also tackle the myths that once you go group coaching you have to do it ALL in a group, the belief that taking away one-on-one support is cheating your clients, and that your program is too niche or customized to work some group magic. In this episode we talk about: There are many constraints of only being able to work with your clients one on one. It limits your income and restricts how many people you can serve, and holds you back from scaling up and actually taking a break or vacation. When you are putting together your offers and program, you want to make it as leveraged as much as possible to eliminate the need to keep explaining everything repeatedly. Doing a group coaching call many times can even be quicker to achieve transformation and to deliver your content and message. The group itself begins to hold each other accountable and create a culture and tribe that helps motivate and support others. When clients see others in the group being bold and vulnerable, they get inspired to take a chance and new ideas flow. The framework that we provide can be applied to both a group coaching and individual business. You don't have to pick just one and can mix and match the two methods for how it works for you. S1E055: From Completely Defeated to Hitting Her Annual Income in Just 4 Days!

Today our rockstar client Kate shares exactly what she did to create amazing results in her business as a relationship coach. Kate overcame a ton of challenges and diligently worked on her old funnel, her pricing, her limiting mindset, and her marketing, which resulted in her going from burnt-out and defeated to earning more in four days than she did the entire previous year! After all of her hard work following the system and implementing the suggestions from our team, Kate refers to what happened as a "seismic shift." Now Kate can focus on growing her business to help women find the love they deserve and get out of relationships that are no longer healthy for them. This is just the tip of the iceberg for Kate, so listen in and see what happens when you show up coachable, committed and resourceful. In this episode we talk about: Previously the way Kate got her clients was hustling at networking events. This was time-consuming and required her to be out every night. Then she took an online course on doing online ads and webinars and that helped, but she didn't feel that it gave her the total support and structure that she needed. One of the biggest lessons Kate learned was to put her need to be liked and her ego aside and just focus on how she could SERVE and better her client's lives. Kate closed two high-ticket sales on New Year's Eve which earned her enough to join COD. Working on her limiting beliefs and stories was one of the most powerful challenges Kate worked on to see a shift in her world both internally and with her clients. Kate is now turning away clients, which is something she never thought she could do. She is attracting more of the RIGHT client and is now able to outsource some of the work to make sure she is available to serve her clients at the highest level. S1E054: Don't Be Rambo; Be a SEAL: Solopreneurs vs. Teams

In today's episode, Marc and I talk about the importance of having a team of people to push you forward and keep you accountable. Doing it alone is NOT better, and usually, those are the solopreneurs that burn out the quickest. We give you strategies for finding the gaps in your skillset and a way to fill those gaps without creating massive overhead. We'll also show you how to hack this next step for your business and get to the bottom line even quicker. When everyone is committed to the cause, you raise yourself and your own clients to a higher standard. You will learn how to get an ELITE WORLD CLASS team working with you, faster and easier than you ever imagined. In this episode we talk about: When you work with and for others, you are more likely to push yourself to do more, rather than if you were completely on your own. It gives you longevity when you are devoted to your clients and your team. The lifecycle on the internet is one year. The buyer moves so quickly that you MUST identify your strengths and weaknesses, work with others to help you fill in all the gaps completely and leverage your team to get incredible results. Even if you are brilliant and incredible (which we know you are), you still must find a way to work with others and benefit from their expertise. The exact reason you can't afford to hire others is often because you are trying to do every piece. Seeking out world-class experts to help you get to the next level is a commitment to your higher standards. Mentioned in This Episode: Clients on Demand Russ Ruffino

S1E053: Smoke & Mirrors Marketing: 8 Ways to Tell When a Coach is Lying to You

Today Adrienne and I talk about something that is becoming more common as the coaching industry grows that no one seems to want to talk about — copycats and fakes. We uncover how to know if what someone is telling you is true, or if it's just fluff and how to tell the difference between the authentic coaches and the copycats. Anyone can take a picture in front of a jet or boast about their live event, but there are certain things you HAVE to look at in order to make sure your coach is the real deal. My hope is that this will save you some time, some money, and a whole lot of frustration. In this episode we talk about: The first thing to look for is that the business coach has a system that provides enough support to get results from start to finish, and the ability to replicate it in different industries. Be sure your coach is advertising themselves as well and putting money into advertising their growth and results. Your coach should make their money from what they teach. If someone is teaching blogging or content marketing but not making money from it, it's best to find someone else that is. Their business model and strategy should match how they are finding success. A good coach will not make you feel guilty or ashamed when you ask a question and they don't know the answer. Your coach should show up congruent with what they are promising and teaching, and their client testimonials should be made up of a varied circle of professionals instead of the same five people all just reviewing each other. Transparency about the real numbers is key. Everybody can create manufactured success but the real power is the honesty about the hard work and all the effort it takes to succeed. Be sure your coach knows the difference between sales and getting results vs. thinking of what they do as just generating revenue or a cash collective. Trust your gut but let that inspire you to make sure someone is covering all the criteria before you make a final decision. Mentioned in This Episode: Clients on Demand Russ Ruffino
