ep. 223 How to Not Find Yourself in Burnout as a Business Owner w/ Coach Ellyn

What’s up, Babes! Welcome back to another episode of the Scale Your Sales Podcast! Today, we’re diving into a topic that’s close to all of our hearts—avoiding burnout while building and running a successful business. My guest, Ellyn, is a burnout coach and systems expert, and she’s here to share her incredible journey and actionable strategies to help you stay productive and fulfilled without hitting the dreaded burnout wall. Topics Covered: What burnout really is: Debunking myths and understanding the three key characteristics of burnout. Recognizing the signs: Emotional exhaustion, physical depletion, and reduced professional focus—know when it’s time to take action. Burnout beyond the workplace: Why burnout isn’t just about work and how life circumstances can impact your energy and focus. Proactive strategies: How to think about burnout as a spectrum and take preventative measures before you hit your limit. The power of systems: How creating digital systems can reduce stress and free up time for the "life-giving stuff." Ellyn’s favorite tools: Why Notion is her go-to productivity app and how she uses automations and AI to streamline life and business. Building sustainability: Simple steps to balance emotional, mental, and physical health while growing your business. Recovering from burnout: Why small, consistent actions matter more than drastic lifestyle changes. Ellyn’s programs and resources: From customizable Notion templates to her System School course and upcoming burnout-proof business group program in 2025.     I don't like having limitations on what I can do and how I can organize things and how I can make things in my digital systems. And that's what Notion gives me—the ability to make it work the way I want it to work. And so I kind of realized all of this stuff, that all of these things that I've been doing in the past, come together under the realm of burnout, systems, self-care, mindset work. But I'm a big believer that the systems have to come first because when we have good systems in our business, in our life, it frees us up for what I call the life-giving stuff. – Ellyn   CONNECT WITH ELLYN: Instagram: @coachellyn Website: coachellyn.co   CONNECT WITH JILLIAN JOIN INFINITY™ here → thejillianmurphy.com Follow me on IG: @thejillianmurphy Join my Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/sellingsecretsgroup

ep. 220 Boost Business and Book Free Vacations with Points w/ Megan Landford

What’s up Babes! Welcome back to another episode of the Scale Your Sales Podcast! Today, I’ve got something super exciting for you—my guest is Megan Lanford, an absolute genius when it comes to travel hacking with credit card points. She’s helped so many people, including busy professionals and families, take dream vacations for (almost) free. If you’ve ever wondered how people manage those luxury trips without breaking the bank, you’re in for a treat! Here’s what we dive into: Travel hacking 101: How to get started with credit card sign-up bonuses. Real savings: How Megan and her clients save $20k a year (yes, really!) on travel. Avoiding mistakes: The common pitfalls when earning points—and how to sidestep them. Success stories: Real examples, from trips to Bali to luxury European vacations, all on points. Megan’s magic touch: Her Card Concierge service that walks you through the whole process, from picking the right credit card to booking your trip. The education piece: Why so many people have unused points and how Megan helps them finally take advantage of what they’ve earned. Time-saving hacks: How to fit travel planning into a busy life without the overwhelm. Why this matters: Whether it’s for family vacations, work trips, or those bucket-list moments, you deserve to travel smarter, not harder.   The key to it is when you sign up for a new credit card, you get what's called a sign-up bonus. And so, you're getting a large chunk of points when you spend a certain amount of money in a short time frame. So, for example, we'll say if you spend $4,000 in the first three months, which is pretty doable for most people, you can earn 80 to 150,000 points depending on the credit card. And so, you get a large chunk of points with one card of spending $4,000. For example, you could go on one free vacation with that. – Megan CONNECT WITH Megan @pointstooparadise 1:1 Coaching | Points Too Paradise Free Resource Points Too Paradise CONNECT WITH JILLIAN JOIN INFINITY™ here → thejillianmurphy.com Follow me on IG: @thejillianmurphy Join my Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/sellingsecretsgroup

ep. 218 This One Word Is Costing You Thousands in Sales

Welcome back, babes, to the Scale Your Sales Podcast! Today's episode dives deep into a simple yet powerful shift in sales language that could change the trajectory of your business. We’re unpacking the psychology of word choice, specifically the impact of replacing “if” with “when” in your conversations. Topics Covered: Why the language you use in sales matters How the word "if" introduces doubt and weakens your messaging The power of replacing "if" with "when" to build trust and certainty Practical tips for reprogramming your sales language Leveraging small mindset shifts to create big changes in your business growth “Every single time you use the word "if," there's actually something psychologically that's happening to your clients that's putting doubt in their mind. Like, if I really want to change my sales, do I really want to change my sales? If you want a better marriage, do I want to change my marriage? And this is so powerful. So, what I encourage you to do instead is to think about ways in which you can be more certain.” -Jillian Link Resources from this episode: Secure your spot for INFINITY next year! THROWBACK: How Systems Scale Your Sales w/ Luvyna Mantle

What’s up Babes! Welcome to another podcast episode of Scale Your Sales Podcast, I'm so excited to have my good friend Luvyna Mantle here today. She is a systems and automation expert who specializes in helping businesses streamline their processes using Go High Level, an all-in-one CRM platform. Today, we're diving deep into the world of automation and how it can transform your business. Topics we cover: The importance of automating foundational business tasks. The benefits of using Go High Level to consolidate business tools and save money. How to attract high-paying clients even when starting out. The significant impact of automating appointment reminders on show-up rates. The necessity of automating onboarding processes to save time and increase efficiency. The role of text marketing in reaching and engaging customers. Personal anecdotes about balancing work and family life through automation. The differences between a Virtual Assistant (VA), Online Business Manager (OBM), and a Systems Expert. Real-life examples of how automation can streamline sales processes and business operations. Tips on identifying gaps in business processes and effectively automating them. “It's okay to automate foundational things like appointment reminders and some of these boring things, but when it comes to your sales, lead generation, onboarding, and nurturing, we're always taught to keep it personal. We want to keep it personal because that's how you can burn your leads. Let's be real, that's how you can hurt your leads. However, there are a lot of things you can automate while still keeping it personalized. You can add manual steps; maybe you're not automating the entire process but automating chunks of it to make it faster and easier on you. A lot of times, what that does is allow you to track more easily. You can track what leads you have coming in and how warm or cold they are, speeding up the process a lot of the time.” - Luvyna Mantle CONNECT WITH LUVYNA LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/luvyna-mantle/ Website: https://mantleandco.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mantleandco/ CONNECT WITH JILLIAN JOIN INFINITY™ here → com Follow me on IG: @thejillianmurphy Join my Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/sellingsecretsgroup
