How to Use Your Retirement Funds Tax and Penalty Free with Daniel Blue
Every so often you'll see some financial and tax tips on social media or blogs and think "There's no way this can be legit". The funny thing is that often those strategies are in fact real. However, we've been conditioned into staying in the "bumper lane" with our finances because it's what we were taught. We don't want to risk it, we don't want to challenge the ways we've been taught, we want to stay safe. Our guest for this episode is here to challenge that and share some strategies that will help you build wealth using your retirement account, penalty and tax-free, that are completely legal. We have entrepreneur and author Daniel Blue with us. Daniel is the owner of Quest Education, which serves customers in all 50 states, helping them take advantage of wealth-building methods that the banks and Wall Street do not want you to know about. Daniel is a regular contributor to Forbes and the host of the podcast How Winners Win. The focus of this conversation is really on building wealth and using your retirement account in a tax-advantaged way. This is not your average run-of-the-mill boring lecture. You're going to want to listen to this podcast especially if you're an entrepreneur who is thinking of saving for retirement, or if you have a 401K from an old job just sitting there, you will benefit immensely from this episode. >>> Connect with Daniel Blue on IG @danielblue__ >>> https://www.danielblue.me/ >>> #1 Course: https://quest-education.mykajabi.com/offers/ioXcYyCX?coupon_code=KEEPWHATYOUEARN >>> Questions about this episode? Reflecting on the Journey from Employee to Entrepreneur with Mike DeRose
I am excited to welcome Mike Derose to the podcast. Mike works alongside his wife Jess Glazer building a seven-figure business while also living life on their terms. While Jess is usually front-facing and coaching her clients, Mike is working the magic behind the scenes as the CFO, managing the financials and operations of the business. Mike and Jess spent the last year traveling the country in an RV and building their business together from the road. Mike left his corporate job in New York to work with Jess full-time in her business. In our interview, we'll unpack what making that decision was like, the lessons learned on the road since going full-time into entrepreneurship, and Mike and I both discuss our philosophies around business, entrepreneurship, and a little bit of the mindset stuff that it really takes to make that transition from employee to entrepreneur. If you are working a corporate job and you want to road-map your way to getting out, this is a great episode for you. Special Episode: Live Q&A with Past Guests
This is a very special episode. We decided to do a reunion of past guests from prior episodes. So if you've been listening to the podcast and you were thinking "Gosh, I love what this person shared and I wish I could ask them more questions." this is your chance. We are doing a live Q&A with the questions you have been sending me after the episodes. So you actually have a chance to interact with these guests, which is super cool. This was filmed on a Zoom call, and in true Zoom fashion, please forgive any background noise or distractions/interruptions that might happen. Here are the guests you'll hear from again... Jillian Murphy - @thejillianmurphy Eric Masson - https://www.ericmassonlaw.com/ Misa Ledguies - www.perfectlykeptbooks.com Katie White - @centsandbalance Christine O'Reilly - @christineinfinance Additional input from participant Yaremi Arenas, bookkeeper All of these guests are experts in their own right and it was so cool to have this mix of people altogether. Also, it was great to hear their stories of success, triumph, struggle, and fear around their own businesses. Remember that we're all entrepreneurs and we all have our own struggles. Being able to talk about that and bounce off each other was such a great vibe to have in the room, and we're definitely going to do this again. >>> Text me!: https://my.community.com/shannonweinsteincpa >>> Fitnancial Solutions Accounting Suite: https://www.fitnancialsolutions.com/accounting >>> Find me on IG @shannonweinstein: https://www.instagram.com/shannonkweinstein >>> Catch me in-person on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMlIuZsrllp1Uc_MlhriLvQ >>> Featured in Yahoo Finance! Defining and Driving Toward Your Financial Goals with Financial Advisor Tina Hoang
This week we're gonna be talking to Tina Hoang, who is a financial advisor in Dallas Texas. Her team services clients nationally providing comprehensive financial planning services. She takes the time to listen to her clients vision, which is what I love about her approach. She's more educational but also collaborative in her planning technique so that your goals can be achievable. What's so important about what Tina does is that she's also busting the mold that financial planners and financial advisors sit above the rest and just tell you what to do with your money, like they are some type of oracle who just tells you what to do, and you obey. That's not what she's about and that's not what we're about here. What's so important is that you're engaged with your financial planner and all of your financial avengers to make sure that you're getting the optimal results that you want for your goals. And nobody knows your goals better than you, so we're gonna dive into what exactly you should be doing to set yourself up for long-term success. But also where you can utilize the help of a professional, even if you feel like you're not quite there yet. I'm excited for you to hear this interview with Tina. >>> Connect with Tina on IG @whatwouldtinahoangdo >>> Find Tina at: http://tinathoang.nm.com/ >>> Text me!: https://my.community.com/shannonweinsteincpa >>> Fitnancial Solutions Accounting Suite: https://www.fitnancialsolutions.com/accounting >>> Find me on IG @shannonweinstein: https://www.instagram.com/shannonkweinstein >>> Catch me in-person on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMlIuZsrllp1Uc_MlhriLvQ >>> Featured in Yahoo Finance! How to Avoid Fraud as an Entrepreneur with Kristofor Healey
This week we're going to talk about a topic that I think is often over looked and underappreciated, especially in small business. We're going to talk about how we can keep more of what we earn by avoiding fraud and scams out there on the internet. And we're not just talking about those phishing attacks in your work emails, or those weird creepy links, or those Facebook messages from your friends who've been hacked. We're talking about the real deal fraud that looks just like legitimate IRS letters, looks like a legitimate government correspondence, and can hold people victim for thousands and thousands of dollars. We're talking to Kristofor Healey, he is the founder and director of The Secure Entrepreneur, a security management consulting firm who helps entrepreneurs and small business owners improve their fiscal health by changing their habits to eliminate risk and reduce their exposure to fraud. Kris is a Texas licensed private investigator and former Special Agent with the Department of Homeland Security who has more than 15 years of experience in federal law enforcement as a Top-Secret clearance holder conducting large scale, multi-defendant fraud investigations and high-risk tactical operations, domestically and overseas. This guy is the real deal, I swear listen to this interview you're going to get so much value out of this. >>> Connect with Kris on IG @thesecureentrepreneur >>> Find Kris at www.secure-entrepreneur.com >>> Text me!: https://my.community.com/shannonweinsteincpa >>> Fitnancial Solutions Accounting Suite: https://www.fitnancialsolutions.com/accounting >>> Find me on IG @shannonweinstein: https://www.instagram.com/shannonkweinstein >>> Catch me in-person on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMlIuZsrllp1Uc_MlhriLvQ >>> Featured in Yahoo Finance!
