Transparency online can be especially important as you are building your business. Not only does it show your followers that you are a human, have emotion, and care about your product or service, but it also helps establish your credibility with your followers as someone who isn't solely there to make a dollar. That said, improper sharing online can actually have the opposite impact on your business if what you are sharing doesn't have value to your potential customers. Tune in to hear my opinion on what should, and should not, be shared online in regards to your business. What you'll hear in this episode: [0:55] What is one of the best ways to build trust online? [1:57] In my opinion, what is too much transparency online? [4:20] Consider if what you are sharing online helps enhance your credibility in your field. This Pricing Mistake is Costing You Thousands
Properly stating your offers can be a game-changer for your business. It not only informs your current clients about the services you provide and those you don't but also becomes a valuable resource for attracting potential clients. When customers make a purchase, they want to be fully informed about what they're getting, so being crystal clear upfront is crucial. On the other hand, being explicit with your offerings also benefits you as the service provider. Sometimes, we tend to go beyond our contracts because we feel it's the right thing to do or it's a simple task. However, setting clear boundaries can significantly improve your work relationships and open up additional opportunities for add-on services. By holding firm to your offerings, you can create a win-win situation for both your business and your clients. What you'll hear in this episode: [1:15] Why may you be experiencing uncertain boundaries around your offer? [2:00] Are you unintentionally making explicit offers, implicit to your offer, through lack of clarity? [7:32] Make sure to educate your clients on the full menu as to what services exist and are available, and which are included. [9:40] Be careful about itemizing your offerings with specific prices. * Related episodes: How to Develop a Brand Style with Tanya Smith Leveraging Collaborations for Business Growth Building Authentic Relationships in Business with Barb Betts Tactical Resources: 5-Day Financial Mindset Refresh: https://www.keepwhatyouearn.com/refresh Create a Custom Podcast Playlist: https://quiz.tryinteract.com/#/6303d4c525b1e80018d47cfa Grow Cash Flow for Your Business: https://www.keepwhatyouearn.com/endless-cash Tax Deduction Guide: https://www.keepwhatyouearn.com/tax-deduction-guide CFO Power Session: https://www.keepwhatyouearn.com/power-session-inquiry See how much you can save with an S Corp: https://www.keepwhatyouearn.com/keep-what-you-earn-s-corp-calculator Additional Resources: Find everything you need at https://www.keepwhatyouearn.com Questions about this episode?
