He shares how God wants us to do our Lenten resolutions out of love for God, so the Holy Spirit works in us to have an internal conversion. Bishop Donald Hying explains the the spiritual power of ascetism, how it is a practice encouraged by the Church and used by the saints and shares tips of how to practice it during lent.

Marcel Taillon / Dave Durand John and Glen chat about Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas being impeached, Republicans losing a House Seat, and the Kansas City Chiefs Celebration Parade today. They also share some Lenten practices suggestions.   (16:44) Fr. Marcel talks about the origin of the ashes, the words the priests tell us when we receive ashes, why do we receive them in the forehead and share that lent is not only about giving up but also about giving, and emphasized the important of being charitable during this season.
