This, then, is how you should pray, said Jesus, and what follows is the most famous prayer in all of Scripture. Today, rather than turn it into a formula or checklist, we walk through each of its verses and phrases, looking for the heart and intent as we study how Jesus taught us to talk to our Father.

Imagine it, the Son of God washing the feet of His disciples: it was shocking, intimate, outlandish, and probably a little awkward. Jesus told us to go and do likewise, to wash each other’s feet. Today we’re looking at that strange, powerful encounter verse by verse to learn what it means to truly serve each other.
