Ep. 11 - What Does It Mean To Be Human?
In this episode I define human as being made in the image of God, then I try to flesh out what it means to image God through the Triperspectival method of John Frame. I explain that to image God is to be a re-interpreter, a sub-creator, and an emulative lover. If none of that makes any sense to you, no fear, it will all be explained!

Ep. 6 - Why Naturalistic Determinism is Self-Defeating w/ Dr. Jim Slagle
In this episode we kick off our first ever Parker's Pensées Podcast interview with one of my favorite philosophers, Dr. Jim Slagle. This guy is next level. We discuss his book, The Epistemological Skyhook: Determinism, Naturalism, and Self-Defeat. We end up covering lots more philosophy and go in a bit deeper into the specifics of epistemology (the theory of knowledge). This was a dream come true. I hope you enjoy! If you do leave us a review and share this with your friends.

Ep. 5 - All Podcasters Are Always Liars
In this episode I cover the Liar Paradox, which historically has been some variant of "the sentence you are now reading is a lie". It's paradoxical in that if it's true, then it's false but if it's false then it's true. I give an overview, a couple proposed solutions, my own solution, and then I go over Jewish satirical humor in order to explain the Apostle Paul's answer to the Liar Paradox in Titus 1:12. Isn't that crazy!? The Liar Paradox made its way into the Bible lol. Enjoy.

Ep. 4 - Could Alexa, Siri, or Bixby Be My Best Friend?
In this episode, we answer the question in the title by looking at the philosophy of friendship and personhood, the philosophy of artificial intelligence and some problems which arise in it, and then we look at the theology of friendship to justify asking the question in the first place. I hope you enjoy!

Ep. 2 - Can God Make a Dog That's Too Big For Him To Walk?
In this episode, I survey three answers to this question: a univocal, an equivocal, and an analogical answer.
Ultimately, I side with the analogical answer and I explain why. If you have no clue what any of that means, no worries, you will by the end of the podcast. Enjoy!
