Relocating Your Practice, Not Your Website: Websites for Therapists with Ashley

We’ve highlighted success stories where therapists start from scratch after locating to a new location, but what if you’re moving constantly? Is it feasible to open and shut down a practice every three years? Can you build a full caseload of clients if you’ll be leaving the area in a few years?Ashley realized early on that she couldn’t grow in a regular position if she kept relocating. Since her husband is in the military, she would have to start from scratch every time she made progress. As they moved from Hawaii to Florida, she gained experience in managing a group practice and had the idea of opening her own online private practice. Even though she grew a successful group practice on her own, Ashley felt she needed assistance with creating the practice of her dreams. She joined Business School for Therapists to refine her work and implemented the SEO lessons into her website. Here, Ashley shares with Miranda how her website funnels her ideal clients, organization and automation tips for each location she serves, and whether you need multiple state licenses for your practice to succeed.Learn more about Ashley:Website: https://www.ashleycomegys.com/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/raisedtoempower Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ashleycomegyslcsw/---Websites for Therapists: Your Checklist to DIY or Outsource a Client-Generating Website: zynnyme.com/blog/websites-for-therapists-checklistJoin the FREE Private Practice Community: classroom.zynnyme.com/share/DCZS57H6dbE8S_GZLearn more about Business School for Therapists: news.zynnyme.com/bootcamp/Website: zynnyme.comBlog: zynnyme.com/blogFacebook: facebook.com/kellyandmirandaInstagram: instagram.com/zynnyme/LinkedIn: linkedin.com/company/2456942/Pinterest: pinterest.com/zynnyme/Mentioned in this episode:Register Now - Starting a Profitable Private Practice: Build It Right, Earn More, Love Your Work From Day One

The Parallel Process: Websites for Therapists with Robin

Outsourcing your website may seem the most practical way of setting up your website. You pay someone to write your copy, make the site searchable, and make it look pretty. But Robin found that depending on who you hire for the task, you might only get one of the three, or none in some cases. And even if you look for referrals from friends and colleagues you might not get the same experience they had.Robin started her website as she began setting up her practice. She wanted people to see her as a legitimate business, so she began posting blogs and an information page. She felt something was missing and was referred to Brighter Visions by a colleague. The final product wasn't what she envisioned, so she went back to creating her own. After joining Business School for Therapists, she refined her website with a designer to match her voice and practice. In this episode, Robin shares with Miranda her parallel process of building a website and how each version has improved over time as she has learned to accept the imperfections. She also discusses how her website reflects her practice, how she utilizes it for her group practice, and tips for those starting their first website.---Websites for Therapists: Your Checklist to DIY or Outsource a Client-Generating Website: zynnyme.com/blog/websites-for-therapists-checklistJoin the FREE Private Practice Community: classroom.zynnyme.com/share/DCZS57H6dbE8S_GZLearn more about Business School for Therapists: news.zynnyme.com/bootcamp/Website: zynnyme.comBlog: zynnyme.com/blogFacebook: facebook.com/kellyandmirandaInstagram: instagram.com/zynnyme/LinkedIn: linkedin.com/company/2456942/Pinterest: pinterest.com/zynnyme/Mentioned in this episode:Register Now - Starting a Profitable Private Practice: Build It Right, Earn More, Love Your Work From Day One

The Ukrainian War and Trauma in Private Practice with Dr. Polina

How can the current events affect me? Economically, we've seen gas prices increase due to oil sanctions against Russia. Mentally, members of our community can be experiencing an increase in anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder due to the conflict continuing every day. As our services continue to grow, we will slowly see clients who are beginning to show symptoms due to family members or mutual connections to Russia or Ukraine.Dr. Polina shares what to expect and what we can do as the Ukranian War is brought into our offices. She also opens up with Kelly about her first response to the war, how she overcame her initial grief, and the support received by her communities.Mentioned in this episode:Register Now - Starting a Profitable Private Practice: Build It Right, Earn More, Love Your Work From Day One
