We offer 1-1 support calls for people who need help with sharing their status with potential partners. We offer virtual events, support groups, and advocate in mental health and sexual health spaces for the minimization of stigma through the stories shared. On this podcast, we interview people living with herpes and who work in the field of sexual health, mental health, and public health to minimize stigma's impacts.

SPFPP 46: Living Life in Overtime with AIDS
Georgia Bulldog Derek Canas was diagnosed with AIDS at age 15 years old. After a blood transfusion as an infant, years of untreated HIV led to his unique medical chart landing in a classroom for medical students. Coincidently, this led to the discovery that a series of unexplainable medical issues, one of the students pointed out that he was not once tested for HIV. One thing we can learn from Derek who's been living the next 17 years of his life after his diagnosis in overtime is to appreciate the little things.
