She is an elementary school teacher. When she caught it, she didn't feel well, but she certainly didn't feel terrible or hospitalization-worthy. Tammy was in good shape. She got it after going to an outdoor concert, or from the friend with whom she attended the concert. There were around 25 people at the event, and she did distance, typically. Of course, it's also possible one of them got it elsewhere, or something similar. At the time, she was at least relieved she had gotten it out of the way without a bad case... but she was wrong. Between June and August, after she had COVID-19, she felt okay. Then, in August, she had severe aches and pains and was absolutely exhausted. Her body felt like it was failing her with the fatigue and the like. For the whole year, she felt absolutely terrible -- foggy, pain, fatigue, and more. Her doctor told her a lot of people relapse like this. Nobody could help her -- essentially, they didn't have answers and sent her to a support group. The support group is helpful. There are 180,000 people in the Facebook group, and so many can't even get out of bed. TREATMENT She sought out Dr. Teitelbaum because she did not want to live like this. He has been on the show before. He found Vinnie through Gina. Kevin turned to NSNG® after he suffered a minor stroke. He did this aged 45, 6' tall, 252 lbs. Kevin is still on medication and is considering other treatment options, but he knows his healthy diet helps. However, he does drink a lot, and may try to cut that out. For some people, alcohol consumption can have a significant effect. NEXT LEVEL Kevin wants to take his health to the next level. He does some significant walking on many days. Vinnie does recommend some aerobic activity at this point. Zone 2 activity is the way to go. Take 180 and subtract your age and that should be your Zone 2 heart range generally. Vinnie does recommend you try cutting out alcohol. Spirits are okay but nothing flavored, no wine, no beer, and consider eliminating spirits all together.
