Keep's the train rolling down the tracks ZONE 2 TRAINING Zone 1 - your heart rate is in between your resting heart rate and 69% of your possible heart rate Can achieve this by simply doing every day chores Walking around is zone 1 Zone 2 is 70% - 79% of your possible heart rate Zone 3 is 80% - 89% of your possible heart rate Zone 4 is 90%-your maximum possible heart rate Zone 5 can only be for a very short time for people who are in incredible shape This is going beyond your redline Vinnie believes Zone 2 is the optimal zone to be in Exercise is a poor way to lose weight, but if you want exercise to burn fat, Zone 2 is the way to go You are burning fat, not worrying about sugar (you shouldn't be consuming that much sugar that it should matter, anyway) Zone 2 is sustainable and reasonable, and it does not make you have cravings like Zone 3 or more can

PLEASE SUPPORT OUR SPONSOR Pure Vitamin Club DAVID RAMIREZ Not actually related to Richard Ramirez Enjoy the tangent about serial killers including Ramirez and Ted Bundy Just completed a 50 mile ultra David has lost over 100 lbs At his biggest, he was 260 lbs He was 29 when he started his weight loss journey, now is 35 He is 5'6" He kept losing weight and then gaining it back He tried to convince himself he was okay, but internally was miserable and hated looking in the mirror David wanted to get healthy for himself and for the woman who ended up being his wife, and ultimately, his daughter as well Initially, David calorie counted Now that he is NSNG, he is not going back BECOMING A RUNNER When David started losing weight, he began to run He had no idea what he was doing David did a 10k and came damn near last, but he loved it Then, he moved on to a half marathon after some other 5 milers and 5ks He was losing weight until the half marathon training, at which point he was around 180 and the weight wouldn't budge After his half marathon, he started gaining some weight back He NEEDED a goal: He signed up for the Chicago Marathon He went from 195 to 185 in training He justified his bad eating habits by the fact that he ran After running the Wisconsin marathon (196lbs) where he was an hour longer than he wanted to be, he knew something had to change David found NSNG through the fact that his brother did paleo He is now at 160, doing better than ever, running ultras and feeling great while doing it!
