LEARN MORE AND REGISTER This week-long retreat is an immersion into the medicinal plants of the Southern Appalachians, a region sometimes referred to as the "Apothecary of North America." Together, we'll explore the incredible diversity of native, introduced, and cultivated herbs that thrive here. In the year 1936, Victor Hugo Green wrote the first volume of "The Negro Traveler's Green Book" which helped African-American travelers in the US find safe, and legal, places to stay, eat and safely travel.
