Lou is Lou Smit, John’s friend and legendary homicide detective. Needing investigative help, the Boulder DA brought Lou in, however, he was soon disenchanted with law enforcement’s obsession with the Ramsey family as the primary suspects, excluding other possibilities. What follows is years and years of misinformation, unaccounted for evidence and a media driven narrative.
