Trauma often forces our body and mind to create survival mechanisms to both cope and facilitate trauma experiences in a way that serve us during times of uncertainty, but what happens when those mechanisms no longer work and we find ourselves in a constant state of Fight, Flight, Freeze, or Fawn?
