Welcome to Game On JOY 94.9’s Home of Sport every Wednesday from 6-7pm where you’ll hear where you can get your game on! This show is all about showcasing where sport is safe, inclusive, welcoming and fun for the Rainbow community!

Football  – We talk football with James Cardell, President of Pride Football Australia, because the Pride Football Australia Tournament is being hosted by the Melbourne Rovers this year. It’s an annual celebration of football, diversity, and unity and you are welcome to join in on Friday and Saturday 10 and 11 October! (Starts 2mins 37secs)

AFL/AFLW – This week is Pride Round for the AFLW – one of two – Round 9 and 10 so all 18 teams will be able to wear their pride jerseys. Brett McAloney, Founder of the Rainbow Crows, the official LGBTIQA+ supporter group for the Adelaide Football Club joins us on the line from Adelaide about how the club is celebrating pride, the plans for their 10^th anniversary next year, and his positive coffee catch up with Adelaide Crows player Izak Rankine. Marathon running – We chat with Colin Hutson – a Melbourne Frontrunner about his first ever marathon this Sunday – the Melbourne Marathon, how he has prepared and with the tips and tricks he will be sharing how you could be running your own 42.195km race! (Starts 22mins 22secs)
