Dr John Newman is a professor at the Buck Institute and at University of California, San Francisco. He hopes to translate what we are learning of the pathways that control aging into therapies to improve the health and independence of older adults. His research at the Buck studies the molecular details of how diet regulate the pathways that control aging, with a focus on ketone bodies.
